Used to have many more chinese clients, now it feels more mainstream.
But the food is superb, every time my girlfriend asks me to eat chinese, I always can't wait to come here.

💯 this place was very special and we enjoyed it so much!!! The mapo tofu was amazing 🌶️ as was the spicy fish soup 🌶️ 🌶️. We had to order soy milk to get through though 🥵 😆. One of the best meals in Milan, in Europe for us! 👏🏼 thank you for the experience. We called a few days ahead for reservation 7:30-9pm and they held us to it (reminded us they needed our table around 9:05pm). Was very crowded on Saturday night with couples, large groups, old, young. Everyone seems to love this place and the atmosphere.

I highly recommend the ravioli with shrimp and vegetables. Also, the sautéed green beans with eggplant and the spaghetti with meat broth. Very, very good.

The food is really good, but when you get home you have to wash your underwear because everything smells so bad! They should install a good extractor hood in the kitchen. For this reason, I definitely won't be going back.

I dined at this restaurant through acquaintances. The cuisine is certainly good and stands out from the "usual" Chinese fare. The restaurant's occupancy leaves something to be desired, and it can be a bit chaotic. A few fewer tables wouldn't hurt. The service is very friendly and fast.
It's difficult to find a table without a reservation.

Excellent Chinese restaurant in the Hunan region. For lunch on Sunday, two portions of ravioli (grilled and the exceptional spicy broth ravioli), two meat dishes (cashew chicken, tripe, and beef), stir-fried rice, a bowl of white rice, and Chinese beer. Spent €37.50. The menu features many special dishes.

Very simple location;
Acceptable price;
Clean bathroom;
Dined on a Friday night; service took a bit long, but the staff were helpful and helpful.

A differenza di altri locali che, pur proponendo cucina cinese, sono ormai diventati commerciali, Mao mantiene uno stile più tradizionale e autentico. Molto buoni i piatti piccanti, come gli spaghetti. Servizio molto veloce.
