Mao Hunan is a Chinese restaurant near Loreto that focuses on Hunan cuisine, known for its bold flavors and spicy dishes. I had an excellent dinner. As a big fan of spicy food and Sichuan pepper, I was really satisfied. The stir-fried green beans were exceptional. Definitely one of the best Chinese spots in Milan with very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Hands down the best Chinese food I had outside of Asia, if not the best. The food is SO delicious that it made me fell in love with hunan cuisine. Everything is so on-point - the braised pork melts in my month, the spicy fried chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. My month is watering again as I write this review. They’re a popular small restaurant so it could be a bit chaotic and the food doesn’t come that quickly- but the taste is so worth it. (Call in advance for a reservation to skip the line)

Ne ho provati tanti di ristoranti cinesi a Milano ma questo è quello che, più di tutti, propone piatti della tradizione culinaria dello Hunan. Ottima la pancetta brasata, gli involtini di melanzane e i ravioli in salsa sichuan. Consigliatissimo!

24/07/2025: My three children and I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The food was delicious and served quickly, the service was discreet but friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming—all the ingredients for a delicious and restorative break were there!
21/07/2025: One of my favorite sushi spots! I often go back because the sushi is always good and fresh, the menu is varied, and features dishes you won't find anywhere else. The staff is really friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!!

10/07/2025: Smiles are paramount. The food is authentic and homemade. Everything is excellent, as are the prices. 😍
06/07/2025: As soon as we arrived (8pm) it was quiet, then it started to fill up with a bit "happy" people... at a certain point we left because the noise and the language were really poor. Too bad because the restaurant is nice and you can eat good Chinese food at very reasonable prices!
