Mangiafuoco Eatery In Sant'oreste

A delightful place. We ate with friends on our way back from the bunker, and found the dishes to be tasty, sophisticated, and plentiful. The tables were carefully set with "grandmother's" plates and glasses. The special features were the cups, saucers, and spoons. The girls serving were helpful, smiling, and yet professional. The place was packed, but they made sure we sat down. A wonderful experience, one to repeat.

Excellent restaurant offering a few local dishes but very well prepared, good service and very fair prices.

We went to this restaurant last night for the first time and were very pleased. We had pizza and loved it for the quality of the ingredients; the desserts are all homemade, too. The place is very cute and the prices are excellent. We'll definitely be back.

The atmosphere is small but welcoming. The grilled calamari with baked potatoes is delicious. The pizza is really good. Highly recommended.

The place is nice and we can't say we ate badly, but: we were extremely disappointed by the fried battered vegetables that only saw the shadow of vegetables; the artichoke and sausage lasagna was good, it's just a shame that the base was a little overcooked; the gnocchi had a smell of laurel that we believe was used to prepare the ragù sauce and for our tastes it was a jarring note; the gratin fennel was very good. Fair prices. P.S. it is not expected that you can reply to the owner's response and so I will explain my comment on the battered vegetables more clearly: there was such a negligible quantity of vegetables (the one with the courgette contained half of a thin round!) that they were in fact fried batters and not fried battered vegetables. I didn't write that the lasagna was burnt - we wouldn't have eaten it - but that the base was a little overcooked. I hope my comment is clearer.
