The place is nice and we can't say we ate badly, but: we were extremely disappointed by the fried battered vegetables that only saw the shadow of vegetables; the artichoke and sausage lasagna was good, it's just a shame that the base was a little overcooked; the gnocchi had a smell of laurel that we believe was used to prepare the ragù sauce and for our tastes it was a jarring note; the gratin fennel was very good. Fair prices.
P.S. it is not expected that you can reply to the owner's response and so I will explain my comment on the battered vegetables more clearly: there was such a negligible quantity of vegetables (the one with the courgette contained half of a thin round!) that they were in fact fried batters and not fried battered vegetables. I didn't write that the lasagna was burnt - we wouldn't have eaten it - but that the base was a little overcooked. I hope my comment is clearer.

Wonderful discovery during the visit to the Soratte bunker, which is just a few minutes walk away. Encouraged by the excellent reviews which have been fully confirmed. Informal but very nice restaurant, with an excellent and kind welcome. Menu not at all banal, with very beautiful and tasty dishes; with particular attention to seasonality.
Definitely recommended!!!

Very nice place and interesting menu, too bad I couldn't try any of the dishes offered because, as soon as I said I had a chilli allergy, I was told that they put it everywhere and could only make me a plate of plain pasta or a hamburger on a plate without any side dish (except four leaves of salad). To top it off, when I asked for a caffè macchiato, they didn't have milk. My husband ate well, but you should always have an extra option or a little creativity in front of a customer who has an allergy.

We were in this delightful place on Sunday for lunch during the visit to the Soratte Bunker, we had already read some excellent reviews but we hadn't booked, so after the visit we went directly to the restaurant hoping to find a seat and to our pleasant surprise the very kind girl made us sit right away. The place is small but with great attention to detail. The menu does not include many dishes but they are typical of the area and have generous portions. We started with an excellent appetizer of really excellent cured meats and cheeses and two delicious first courses! I took the gorgonzola, pumpkin and speck gnocchi. Delicious! Excellent value for money, truly top kindness and professionalism not to be taken for granted these days. If we have the opportunity to return to the area we will definitely come back to you! Highly recommended!

A few minutes by car from the Monte Soratte bunker, Sant'Oreste (RM). It was a really nice surprise, the place is welcoming and well organised. Few dishes on the menu, but typical of the area, the portions are abundant and generous and the products are of excellent quality. The staff are polite, helpful and smiling which never disappoints. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends. Experience we will repeat ❤️

Excellent quality of food, served by kind and welcoming staff, in a fairytale setting (the tale of Pinocchio: in those places Comencini filmed the film Pinocchio with Nino Manfredi and Gina Lollobrigida)
