Mangia Napoli ... e non solo !!! In Milazzo

It was the first 'food' place we encountered when we arrived in Milazzo and a little hesitant and doubtful we stopped. A very lucky choice: we ate à la carte even though it was late and we realized that the name was true: for lunch they don't make pizza, but the arancini, pasta with sardines and salad with tuna that we ate were delicious. The owner is a very kind guy (according to Sicilian standards) who filled us with attention and advice on places to visit. We will return for dinner to try the pizza which in any case they told us at the hotel was excellent. Oh I forgot: honest prices for the quality provided.

We came to this restaurant on a recommendation… and it was one of the best choices we made during our stay in Milazzo! The food was simply exceptional: very fresh raw materials, carefully prepared dishes, authentic and well-balanced flavors. From appetizers to desserts, everything spoke of love for cooking and respect for tradition. An attention that can be perceived from the first taste. But what made the experience truly special was the impeccable service and hospitality of the owner, Ivan. A genuine, present person, with the rare gift of making you feel like a guest and not just a customer. Welcoming, attentive without being intrusive — he made us feel at home, pampered, but with professionalism and sincere warmth. A place where you eat very well and feel even better. Thank you for giving us not only a dinner, but a beautiful memory. We will definitely be back!

It's often worth venturing a little further away from the port to see prices drop and quality improve, and that's certainly the case here!!! Two extraordinarily good pizzas, a delicious prawn risotto, a glass of Nero d'Avola, a bottle of mineral water, and the traditional cutlery for €52. This restaurant was voted the best pizzeria in Sicily in 2023.
