MaMi In Roma

Wonderful little local restaurant in the suburbs of Rome. We visited last year (sorry for the late review!) and were staying nearby and tried it on a whim. Best decision ever! The owner/host was amazing, taking the time to talk to us about the dishes and wine. The food was incredibly good. I had the Ox cheeks and it was delicious. Although the restaurant itself is quite small , I noticed a great diversity amongst the patrons, from couples to families with kids, young and old. Would definitely come back next time I am in Rome.

otttimo ambiente arredato in maniera accattivante. in 4 abbiamo preso 8 portate e erano tutte buone. porzioni adeguate, presentazioni di qualità. una bella sorpresa nel nostro quartiere

Being my first time to Rome, I trusted our visit on previous reviews, thinking we couldn't be that lucky, could we ? We were. The music, swing type jazz, and the 60's era first struck me. Then between the staff whose patience with my attempts at Italian and trying to master Google translate was questionable but when the food arrived, my trust in those previous reviews was rewarded. So Grazi Ma Mi. Your food,service and music were everything we hoped they would be and more.

Very nice welcoming place. Good fried foods also very good tartare, gnocchi less so, pizza with super Nutella

We ordered Gnocchi and Piatto del Giorno. We sat outside and enviroment was fine. But food was not impressive although price was reasonable.
