29/04/2026: A well-kept restaurant, with very friendly and competent service. The menu focuses on Abruzzo cuisine (primarily local and meat-based, authentic Abruzzo cuisine) and features simple, traditional dishes, carefully selected ingredients, and a very balanced execution. We tried the mutton stew (very tender) and the grilled ribs, along with side dishes and a ricotta and candied citron dessert. Next time, we'll try the first courses (including, unusually, various soups) and, of course, the arrosticini. Prices are moderate, appropriate for the quality offered.
08/02/2026: We recently went to Bottega del Capestrato. It's a very elegant place, I must admit—not what I expected, really.
The service was refined, starting the dinner with a delicate entrée. The dishes themselves were of good quality, considering the small suppliers' attention to both food and wine. The portions, while not excessive, were as expected.
We ordered an appetizer of cured meats and cheese, followed by a pasta dish each, and finally a dessert. None of these dishes were pre-cooked or pre-packaged, and I must admit that the tiramisu really hit the spot, given its in-house preparation.
The price is significant; for six of us, we spent around €60 each, placing this place at a solid bar, but certainly with an elegant cuisine and natural, refined flavors.
I recommend it for family dinners, and why not, even a romantic get-together.
