Alm in Aldein (Lerch), parking available, great view, surrounded by meadows and forest, the food tastes excellent, friendly staff, Strauben tastes excellent.
Malga ad Aldino zona Lerch, parcheggio gratuito, vista magnifica,circondata da prati e bosco, si mangia benissimo il personale é gentile, lo Strauben é eccellente.

We had dinner here and were allowed to stay overnight in the camper for free. The view is magnificent, the food was excellent. Toilet can be used in the evening and morning.

Maybe not the first address for bicycle tourists, because the Schmieder Alm says its name, is very high up and yet clearly remote. It's easily accessible by car, but I wouldn't beat the McLaren, which has been lowered to the maximum, to that point. We've been up there once in a rented van and several times in a normal car and it's absolutely problem-free. There is generous parking space and I Back Alm is a popular start and finish. For hikes in a beautiful landscape. The house itself is traditional yet up to date, the toilets have obviously been remodeled and the kitchen is excellent! Overall, an absolute recommendation for a delicious lunch followed by relaxation on the meadow with a group, or as a start and finish for a longer hike. I can't say about the rooms, we didn't stay there, but we're planning on one of our next visits.

Beautiful mountain hut near Aldino.
Wonderful place, with lots of space even for the little ones (outdoor games of all kinds).
Excellent cuisine: we ate the Canederli Tris, tagliatelle with chanterelle mushrooms, cutlet and chips for the children, cabbage salad with speck and sweet dumplings with apricots (inside) and battered and fried elderflowers.
Everything was delicious but the flowers were nothing short of superlative!
Very kind and helpful staff.
We didn't stay but the interior of the hut is beautiful with the "old" environments.
If we are in the area again we will certainly return.

Dessert molto buoni ,posto ottimo per un post camminata . Noi ci siamo fermati tornando dal corno bianco. Un po' caro ma come quasi tutte le malghe in Alto Adige.
