Wonderfully child-friendly, even in the restrooms. Delicious food and great homemade drinks. The highlight for the kids was the dandelion spritzer. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

You can get there by car; we came for lunch as soon as we arrived for our stay. Delicious dumplings, two portions, water, a medium beer, and a strudel for €35. They have a playground for children, and we could see their cows and horses from afar. On a beautiful sunny day, we ate lunch outside, but inside, it's very well-kept and very new, which doesn't look like it from the outside. If you can, come!

We only got to know the inn and it is really great, very cozy, a bit simple in a lovely and authentic way, we had delicious food, the service was nice and attentive, a good place for a stopover

After the wonderful experience of the Bletterbach Canyon, we stopped at this stunning mountain hut. Tagliatelle with chanterelle mushrooms, dumplings, raspberry buttermilk (refreshing), and Kerner wine. Everything was delicious. Unfortunately, we made a mistake with dessert; we ordered a buckwheat roll that didn't quite match the rest of the menu! Blame it on the overly convoluted menu. Other than that, it's worth trying.

The Schmiederalm is something truly special! A little remote, hidden away, it's a place full of warmth and the perfect spot to slow down. Good food, welcoming hosts, and the enchanting mountain scenery have a special appeal. For overnight guests and small campers, it's the perfect location for a mountain experience. It's also the starting point for a hike through the nearby Bletterbach Gorge. One of my favorite places and an experience I wouldn't want to miss!
