Eravamo gi venuti a Malga Maraia dalla località Federa e così questa volta abbiamo deciso di fare un sentiero più lungo. Siamo arrivati poco prima del pranzo ed abbiamo trovato subito persone veramente molto gentili. Del menù si vede l'inizio e non la fine tanto è pieno di proposte culinarie, uno più golosa dell'altra, abbiamo mangiato e bevuto splendidamente, complimenti sinceri per tutto.

Wonderful mountain hut that can be reached both by car and on foot (about 2 hour walk uphill) you arrive and are amazed by the place which is beautiful .... then you sit down and order .... and Fiamma the waitress was very kind and very good the food one of the best ..... the strudel you absolutely have to try ...... it was divine ..... the owner Federico offered us some excellent grappa and Paola accompanied us by car down to the parking lot given the bad weather that had occurred ✔️ we will definitely return as soon as we can.....

Malga meravigliosa si raggiunge sia in auto che a piedi (passeggiata di circa 2 ore in salita ) arrivi e rimani estasiata dal posto che è bellissimo ....poi ti siedi ed ordini ....e fiamma la cameriera è stata gentilissima e bravissima il cibo uno dei migliori .....lo strudel da provare assolutamente ......era divino .....il proprietario Federico ci ha offerto dell ottima grappa e paola ci ha accompagnati in macchina giù al parcheggio visto il brutto tempo che si era fatto ✔️ ritorneremo sicuramente appena possiamo.....

Very positive experience. The place is enchanting with a panoramic view of the Marmarole and the Sorapiss in an unforgettable winter guise. The sunny position leads to a prolonged stop.
We had lunch in the refined rustic interior with inviting and tasty dishes as well as desserts. Fast, efficient and friendly service. The very sociable and smiling owner even offered us a grappa, fortunately a little light. Prices are average.
Passed with full marks
I would only point out one thing that could be improved in my opinion: the generator set being too close to the mountain hut is a bit too invasive due to noise and smell...

Very nice mountain hut, new and with good food (after a nice walk it's fine😂). Fast and courteous staff. To get to the mountain hut I recommend taking path 120d in winter which leads directly to the mountain hut, otherwise you will need snowshoes if beaten. A little uphill but doable in about 1 hour and 40 minutes. Very satisfied with this day! We will be back!

Malga Maraia is a farmhouse located in the municipality of Auronzo di Cadore, the structure is located at 1700 meters above sea level, at the foot of the Cadini di Misurina.

Malga Maraia is also an ideal starting point to reach the Città di Carpi refuge.
