The place is very beautiful but the farmhouse is crowded with too many people and the service is obviously not adequate but I don't think we can do better. Absolutely necessary to book. Excellent paths to get there from Lake Misurina

I was on Friday 1st November.. beautiful mountain hut in a magnificent setting.. not too demanding walk.. we arrived around 12.30.. full mountain hut and does not accept reservations for lunch.. we left our name and sat at the table towards 1pm 8pm..friendly staff..perhaps a little disorganized due to the many people who were there that day..so there's no need to rush...excellent cold cuts and cheese platter..canederli I've tried better ones...adequate bill ...reference point to reach other refuges..in the afternoon I went up to the city of Carpi..worth a visit..

There is only the name of the mountain hut because in truth it is a real restaurant.
Being immersed in a wonderful landscape context, being reachable by an easy walk or even by any car, the place is practically always invaded by mass tourism with consequent queues to eat and loss of the beauty of the place due to crowding; for these reasons I recommend it exclusively in periods of low tourism.
The quality of the food is average, while the helpfulness of the staff is excellent.

To get there there are multiple solutions with truly rewarding treks and in the summer it is also possible to go up there by car (pay attention to us hikers).
Malga Maraia closes on November 2, 2024 and the foliage in the woods is almost ready...

Ho avuto la fortuna di pranzare in questa oasi di pace.
La malga si trova immersa nel bosco con una vista mozzafiato sulle Dolomiti.
L'ambiente è caldo e accogliente.
Il personale e i titolari sono gentilissimi e molto affabili.
La cucina varia, gustosa e con materie prime locali e di primissima qualità.
Il prezzo davvero onesto per la qualità offerta e la location.

Ho trovato questa malga ,quasi per caso.Siamo dovuti arrivare lì, con la macchina e durante l ascesa più volte ho pensato di tornare indietro, una volta raggiunta la malga,però, ho trovato un ambiente molto confortevole e professionale. Piatti caratteristici molto buoni e ben presentati.Aver fatto un po' di salita,ne è valsa la pena.
