I went here with my family during the Christmas holidays. The location is excellent if you pass through the Giau pass, the mountain hut can be reached by car or by walking for 10 minutes. Since it was a beautiful day we were able to have lunch on the terrace in front of the Lastoni di Formis, Croda da Lago and Monte Cristallo, a truly spectacular view. The food was really excellent, especially the first courses. Friendly and helpful staff, definitely recommended!

Essere ammaliati dal fascino delle Dolomiti mentre si gustano dei piatti tipici gustosi della tradizione, non ha prezzo. Piatti cucinati sapientemente e con amore hanno reso quest'esperienza indimenticabile da far appagare tutti i sensi....!!

We stopped at the inn for lunch.
The setting is magnificent, beautiful panorama of the mountains.
The staff is extremely kind and attentive. The food was divine! Special mention for the figs with speck cheese as an aperitif.
The path to get there is a bit tricky (watch out for low cars) but it's definitely worth stopping there.

Little hidden treasure below Passo Giau, sheltered from the hordes of tourists on the pass and in Cortina. Exceptionally fine and inventive cuisine based on local products, it is by far the best restaurant in the area (we ate there twice, so no doubt). Calm and cozy setting with a breathtaking view of the Lastoni di Formin. Top notch welcome and service. Brief. Cool.
