Anche con una giornata piovosa il posto è bellissimo, ho mangiato una guancetta di maiale che era sublime… personale gentile e veloce.. ci rivedremo.. a presto.. saluti da Vicenza

Mega great view from the terrace. Very friendly hosts, really good food, great dishes, and very nicely presented. At star kitchen level. Very friendly and helpful in translating the menu.... I would love to come back.

Caratteristica malga con vista mozzafiato! Ho pranzato sul terrazzo circondata dalla bellezza delle Dolomiti e gustato dei buoni piatti locali ad un prezzo onesto. Personale molto gentile. Da tornare.

We have just returned from a weekend at the hut and we really enjoyed it. The food is so good and the people super nice and attentive. We will definitely be back!

We spent an unforgettable touring weekend at Malga Giau amidst beautiful nature finishing off each day with the most delicious food. The whole crew at the hut is super friendly and attentive.

I went here with my family during the Christmas holidays. The location is excellent if you pass through the Giau pass, the mountain hut can be reached by car or by walking for 10 minutes. Since it was a beautiful day we were able to have lunch on the terrace in front of the Lastoni di Formis, Croda da Lago and Monte Cristallo, a truly spectacular view. The food was really excellent, especially the first courses. Friendly and helpful staff, definitely recommended!

03/07/2025: Il Cantiere del Gusto is a rare pearl that combines elegance, warmth and authenticity. As soon as you cross the threshold you breathe an atmosphere of sober class, attention to detail but never ostentatious. The staff is extremely courteous and professional: sincere smiles, attention to the customer and always timely advice make you feel pampered at all times. The menu is a celebration of taste, but the real surprise comes with the dessert: the homemade cannoli. A marvel! Crunchy, fresh, with an enveloping and fragrant ricotta. A dessert that has nothing to envy of the Sicilian original, on the contrary - here you can feel all the love and artisanal expertise that make it truly memorable. A refined but authentic culinary experience. To try, to recommend, to return. Congratulations!

06/07/2025: Delicius, perfect looking dishes, served with style. Staff all dressed same, profesional, beatiful. Their english is not very good tho. Also its not very expensive. Recommend 9/10
31/03/2025: Coeliac friendly restaurant on the slopes with a good choice of gluten free options (such as steak and polenta based dishes) and helpful staff. Ate here multiple times with no issues.
