We had the pancake soup and an apple strudel (we dived into it before taking a picture) which both hit the spot. I absolutely loved that the strudel’s sweetness wasn’t overpowering, actually it had a bit of sourness I’d say which gave it more of a natural taste.
I have no words about the heavenly surroundings ❣️

After a beautiful, yet challenging 15-km hike, we stopped at Malga Contrin – and what can we say: Simply fantastic!
The welcome was warm, the service pleasant and consistently friendly – you immediately feel at home. The speck platter was plentiful and of the highest quality, and the Kaiserschmarrn was an absolute delight – light, golden brown, and perfectly seasoned.
The hut itself is beautifully situated, nestled against an impressive mountain backdrop – a place where you can truly relax and take a deep breath.
In conclusion: An all-round successful experience – we'll definitely be back!

we saw the sunrise at a view point nearby in August '24. we wanted to use the services of the mountain hut, but unfortunately it was closed (morning at 7.00). we will return because the view from here is truly breathtaking

Friendly landlady, great ambience, very good food, reasonable prices. This hut is a real recommendation on the Seiser Alm.

We had salsiccia, borscht w dumplings, and schnitzel. All were very good but a bit salty. View is lovely and service is friendly.

Phenomenally situated place. A meal or just a coffee with a view of the entire mountain range and Schlern! Excellent food and cakes at lower prices than the main queue restaurants. Location on a beautiful, wide, family route.
