Maleti Bar on the Lido in Venice is a short walk from the vaporetto stop. I went there with my identical twin brother who said we were going to have gelato. I decided to have three scoops: vanilla, raspberry and pistachio. When I started to eat it, I was surprised at how much you got for 4.50€. Before I left, I walked inside and saw it was a large and modern bar, and various food dishes and sandwiches were also available. There are a dozen tables with umbrellas outside by the sidewalk near the road. The place was busy with customers, so I know it had to be good.

We had 1 spritz, a Coke Zero, and 1 ice cream. The ice cream was excellent, and the spritz was normal. We spent 14 euros.

Two hit sandwiches and a coke and a Fanta €22. Quick service. Food good and plenty of ice in the drinks. Sat outside in the warm march sun. Pigeons are a pain, but the owner sees them off. The ice creams were popular with passing children. Toilets need to be updated/repaired as one (men’s) had a large crack.

Nice bar with a great selection and reasonable prices. Friendly staff, good location.

Stopped here for some lunch after a trip to the lido. We had some very nice sandwiches and drinks sitting out front in the sun. Staff were friendly and critically spoke English.

We had a coffee, sweet and nice quiche. The place is fine and full of locals.

Hmm...well, what can I say...the service was so-so...the food was okay, although the price/performance ratio wasn't right...more of a place to have a drink, a conversation, and people-watching...

We had a cappuccino there, which was both strong and creamy. But we were especially impressed by the small snacks they offered. These included potatoes, a dish like lasagna with eggplant, grilled vegetables, and so on. Everything was very authentic and tasted very good. It was also a nice place to sit and enjoy.
