The food was very good, but the music was very loud and it was difficult to have a conversation. It seems to be a place frequented by locals; we went to two canals and didn't have to wait for a table.

I ate the best ossobuco of my life, compliments to the chef. The service was exceptional, everyone was very kind and always smiling, especially the tall girl. I would gladly return.

30/11/2025: Four people for dinner. The service was prompt and very helpful, given our requests. The pizzas were cooked to perfection and well-topped. The dessert (babà) was excellent, and recommended by the pizza chef. We discovered it by chance, but we'll definitely be back. Excellent value for money. Really good.
14/11/2025: Kindness, helpfulness, and a pizza that, as a Neapolitan southerner recently moved north, made me feel at home on those cold, homesick evenings! Excellent!

San Tomaso

11/02/2026: I've known this place for 25 years. I used to come here for lunch many years ago and had fond memories of it. I returned today and thought it was gone, like so many other great places in Milan that have now disappeared. But it's still there! I had a stew with fresh porcini mushrooms and potatoes, an excellent tiramisu, and my husband had a delicious chocolate and pear cake. Very reasonable prices for the area...what can I say? Highly recommended!
31/01/2026: An excellent restaurant for a business lunch. The food is well-prepared, reasonably priced (we're in central Milan), and the service is excellent. And the service is prompt, ideal for those short on time for lunch.
