15/09/2025: It had been highly recommended to me, which is perhaps why the comparison with the real situation didn't particularly excite me. Everything was normal, of course, but nowhere during the dinner did I find the motivation to give it a rating higher than 4 stars.

08/09/2025: We had rented an apartment right above the Bagni Salvadori, so we discovered them somewhat by chance—and what a lovely surprise! An authentic, family-run place offering excellent cuisine with attentive service. Nonna Romana's octopus and the finger-licking schiacciatine are delicious. Then, during aperitivo time, you can head to the new Salmastro bar right next door, which offers expertly crafted cocktails, best enjoyed sitting on the steps with the sunset in front, along with more contemporary dishes. The beautiful setting of the small beach and the piers of the old port offers the perfect space for those with families, but also for those, like us, who wanted to read a book in peace (though it's true that it was September, not August ; ). If there had been six stars, I would have given them.
