Magnosfera In Parma

Excellent dishes and good food, a brilliant chef, and kind and friendly staff at the cash register and at the coffee bar, but the service leaves something to be desired. Some of the girls are stingy with portions of things you'd like (potatoes, pasta, with the excuse that it contains lactose, which I'm intolerant to, when it's not, for example, in the pesto—pecorino and parmesan don't contain any). Instead, they give generous portions of things that aren't that great, and almost no one asked for them. Like once, a strange pan of mixed vegetables, which wasn't good, and I also felt unwell because it was closing time and the potatoes were all gone. Then, I was stingy with cling film for takeout, since every time it kept leaking, and when I got home, it always came out with a smeared bag. This time, they didn't even seal some of them, saying nothing would leak, but in the end, it didn't, and the problem has persisted since the first time. There's no point in insisting. Only the cashier and chef seal well. Anyway, it's worth it every now and then because you get what you get. I can't give a full 5-star rating for the service, but I'll give it at least 2 because some of the staff are good and kind and put in the effort, like the blonde girl without glasses. I'll change my mind if the service improves, and I'll give it 5 stars like in my first review. Other than that, I recommend it.

Large self service for a quick lunch

Good solution for a fixed price and a fast lunch. Food is good and drinks are free. Great atmosphere and the staff was very nice.

Self-service in the center of Parma. A single employee serving food, the first courses were lukewarm and lightly seasoned, and the second courses were minimalist. Much better than other similar establishments in the area. A pleasant note: a friendly regular who lingered at the tables, telling stories of his life.
