Magnaki Porta Romana In Milano

Very elegant environment. Friendly staff at the highest level. They welcome you, explain, introduce the dishes and advise you in the right way. Very small attentions that make the difference (example: total cleaning of the table between dinner and dessert, something not everyone does). Good dishes, price right in my opinion for the quality of the raw material. Well assorted menu, I would say "just right", not very long (a clear and concise menu is better than proposals of 50 dishes which perhaps are not convincing or are not well thought out). I absolutely recommend the gunkan carbonara and the uramaki moscova. Dessert: decomposed cannoli (wonderful, 3 crunchy wafers and excellent ricotta, Sicilian I guarantee.) I will definitely come back.

The dishes are all delicious, the quality seems high and the place is really nice and romantic. With the Thefork discount it is accessible and you can dine in a very nice place while eating well for around 20 euros each. The service is really fast, perhaps too fast. We finished everything in 25 minutes because they brought everything to us instantly, less than 5 minutes after ordering it was all there. Well done, maybe a little more suspense would be nice though!

Not the greatest location. The idea makes sense, but it's really pricey. Ok to try, but not so appealing for a follow up.
