If you pass through the historic center of Parma and don't stop in Maghes, you are missing out on an experience! This bar, a stone's throw from the Duomo, is a true hidden gem - or rather, now less and less hidden, given the queue that often forms in front of the counter... and with good reason! As soon as you enter, you are greeted by a warm, friendly and carefree atmosphere. The music is always spot on, chosen with taste and never intrusive, it creates the perfect setting for every moment of the day: breakfast, lunch, aperitif, regenerating break. Max and Sara, the owners, have been able to create a small universe of quality, passion and authenticity. And you can feel it. That's how it feels. The draft beer is simply amazing, carefully poured and served at the right temperature. The selection of bottles is also great. And to accompany them? Sandwiches that border on the divine, creative and colorful salads, breakfast desserts that have no rivals in the city: fragrant brioches, soft and irresistible cookies, tarts that taste like home and real attention. All the dishes are prepared by Sara with an almost touching precision and passion: extremely fresh products, assembled on the spot with obsessive care, never a detail out of place. Everything has a balance of taste and texture that conquers from the first bite. And then there is the aperitif. Here Maghes surpasses itself. Max has a hand that we could define as magical: Spritz, Americano, Bloody Mary, Gin Tonic... they seem like the usual cocktails, but they aren't. There is something in his drinks that makes them special: the perfect balance, the careful presentation, that extra note that you can't define but that makes you say: "I want another one!" In a city full of proposals, Maghes stands out for its authenticity, quality and atmosphere. It's not just a bar, it's a place where you feel good, where you eat very well and where every detail - from the smile at the counter to the spoon in the coffee - tells of a true passion. The draft beer in Maghes is the best in the whole centre! They have a cold Forst system, the beer has very little carbon dioxide and is therefore super digestible! Not to mention Sara's sandwiches, the one with the battered horse to fly away! You can't miss coming here!

The real bar in town. The clientele is regular and the relationship with the managers is very close-knit. In an instant you are friends of everyone. Drinks, food, cleanliness and prices are definitely a plus. Absolutely worth trying.

Fantastic environment and service. It feels like being at home... I recommend their breakfasts with pastries (and freshly squeezed orange juice), and their variety of exceptional sandwiches and dishes. The MDB sandwich is fabulous. Whoever invented it was a genius

Dear all, I know you've been following me since Italia's Got Talent (the most loyal since XFactor with that idiotic ball). Today I'll tell you about this exquisite restaurant, a true discovery in the Parma area, as they say in Parma. I'll start by saying that the owners, who are very good at their jobs, are guilty of conceit, arrogance, and a pinch of salt, which makes the first impression a bit bland. However, when I asked for one of their signature dishes (off the menu), their eyes lit up and their kindness skyrocketed. The restaurant is really cute and chic, although the aesthetics could perhaps be improved. All in all, I think it's one of the best in Parma, which also offers great service to those who don't have a meat-eating appetite. We'll see you again, you slapstick guys! (You'll never win)
