Today, February 7, 2026. Lunch with my partner. The manager welcomes us in a friendly manner, and it's immediately clear he loves his job. The place is very clean, the service is quick, and the waiter has a great attitude. The dishes are excellent and plentiful, and the glass of Nebbiolo is very good. The bill is exceptional.

Lunch with friends. We had a great time... until the bill. The food was good, the staff were friendly and helpful, the drinks were good, but not excessive, and we even had a couple of grated truffles. However... that truffle that wasn't weighed in front of us and that bill that was a bit... magical, to arrive at a solid €200, weren't exactly a good thing. €150 would have been fine, and we didn't argue about fifty, but I definitely won't be returning, nor will I recommend it.

A truly special place, with equally special people and cuisine to die for. At Madama Vigna, you can taste, savor, and enjoy truffles in all their forms: a true paradise for those who want to indulge without limits and without reservations. An extraordinary experience that left us thrilled. Highly recommended!

Lunch with friends. Slow and somewhat inattentive service, even just bringing mineral water at the start (or wine, served after lunch). Excellent dishes, with a few slips. Relatively high final bill. Next time, I'll skip the truffle.

Castello di Bubbio

02/01/2026: Stayed 2 nights. The accommodation is part of the Bubbio Castle complex. The room was tidy and clean, and the bathroom was adequate. Only complaint: every time the fan coil was turned on, it made a loud noise due to the whirring of the fans. Even when the fan coil was turned down, the noise persisted, and obviously this happened every time the temperature dropped below the set threshold. We didn't immediately report the issue (having noticed it on New Year's Eve), but I simply reported it to the receptionist after leaving the room (...). Otherwise, I can highlight the decent breakfast offered, with various options. Good luck!
05/12/2025: Everything is high quality and full of special details. We went during the off-season, so the hotel restaurant itself wasn't open, but the owner, who is very friendly and attentive, recommended an excellent restaurant next door. The town has just over 800 inhabitants, so it's a place to enjoy peace and quiet.

08/03/2026: First time going, very positive, large and very nice place, fair price and top service. I will definitely be back.
25/02/2026: I had dinner at One More with my boyfriend. Overall, the experience was positive. The place is cute and simply decorated, suitable for all occasions, although we didn't find anything that made it stand out from other places in the area. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. The only downside: the bill. Considering what we ate, the type of place and the service, we found the prices slightly above average. Of course, it depends on what you order. In short: a good option if you're looking for speed and quality, but a little less so if you're looking for a sophisticated atmosphere or unbeatable value.
