After visiting the castle of Valbona on a sunny Saturday in February, my husband and I had lunch here and it was a very pleasant surprise: the place is very pampering, the food good and well prepared, the wine I'm biased because I love the Ca' Lustra winery...we will definitely go back

Tolin is a true institution for lovers of high quality meat. Not just a shop where you can buy fine cuts and excellent meat in general, but also a small informal restaurant which, from Wednesday to Sunday, offers a very good gastronomic experience with traditional dishes that enhance local products; the trio of raw meats was excellent, the lasagna delicious and the matured Florentine steak I think speaks for itself in the photo. I will definitely be back!

Tolin is a guarantee if you want to eat meat that is not good but better. The Tris (of raw meat) always leaves me speechless... the meat is nothing short of delicious. But Fiorentina is no exception, remaining soft as butter from start to finish, even when it cools down. Space! I can't wait to return.

Ne avevo sentito parlare e mi sono creato l'opportunità di provare. È una macelleria che nel retro ha un piccolo ristorante, pocgi tavoli in una veranda, quasi un fornello pugliese trasportato al nord. Piatti carnivori ovviamente e lo si vede subito all'entrata dove si passa davanti ad una grande vetrina refrigerata, dove sono ben in vista tagli di carne di diverse qualità e provenienze. Essendo un amante del quinto quarto che non sempre si trova dalle nostre parti, ho optato per un originale frittolin, un frutto di cervella, animelle, lingua e trippa veramente gustoso ed intrigante e delle succulente tagliatelle con animelle e porcini. Ho visto però passare una grande irecchia di elefante, bollito misto e carni grigliate di vari tipi. Buona cantina, prezzi onesti, servizio quantitativanente numeroso. L'unica pecca i tempi morti tra un piatto e l'altro un po' lunghi. Certamente da ritornare per provare altri piatti.

Un trionfo della carne ! Piatti ricercati e della tradizione, sempre con la carne alla base naturalmente, di una qualità che difficilmente si trova in giro, tutto accompagnato da una cantina non indifferente, con un servizio giovane, spigliato ma attento per nulla invadente. Ho mangiato benissimo a dir poco e spero di tornare presto…complimenti veramente !
