We were received very kindly at this market stall where we tasted meats that we will not soon forget: typical city dumplings (mondighili), sandwiches with cow meat and sausage, and stew. Genovese style. It was perfect (and served with a delicious red wine).

What can I say.... Try it! One of the best sandwiches in Milan. Particular taste and ingredients, the flavor is unique and the quality of the ingredients is not lacking, friendly staff. The only flaw is the price and size but for the quality it offers it is also good.

Part butcher shop, part sandwich shop, part standing bar. Many meat and offal small bites that can be grilled. Prices are super reasonable - skewers range from €3-5 and plates €10-20. Some brilliant items, including a fantastic tiramisu.

We received a lunch from Giuseppe Zen as a gift, what can I say? Exceptional: the excellent meat (try the Swiss sheep) let alone the sausage, mondeghiIi, tongue. The desserts (tiramisu and persimmon ice cream) have never tasted better. I wouldn't have called it "Macelleria Popolare" but taking advantage of the surname "Macelleria Zen" because here you experience situations from another dimension and Giuseppe is a rare person.

Sono venuto a mangiare al volo con un amica dei panini. Inizialmente Prendiamo quello con il ragù genovese e quello con il brasato, €14 l’uno, poi dopo, essendo i panini un po’ piccini, prendiamo anche uno spezzatino di pecora, €18 e poi ci siamo seduti fuori. Allora questo posto si trova all’interno di un mercato dove si possono comprare anche frutta e verdure e anche altri prodotti, carino come location, però i prezzi li ho trovati un tantino alticci anche viste le porzioni, mentre per i sapori allora sicuramente quello allo spezzatino di pecora è stato il mio preferito, anche se c’era quella nota di selvaggio, poi il brasato, non male e per ultimo la genovese che sinceramente ci ho troverò un gusto un po’ diverso e forte di qualcosa che credevo fosse vino ma il cameriere ha detto che era la cipolla un po’ abbrustolita
