Last night my uncle and I had the pleasure of having dinner at the Macelleria Mastrovito in Gioia del Colle, and we left really enthusiastic. The experience was impeccable from the beginning: as soon as we entered we were greeted with a warm welcome from the owner, a gesture that immediately gave that touch of hospitality that makes the difference. The service proved to be of the highest level: all the staff, dressed in elegant uniforms, took care of every detail with great attention and professionalism, well above the local average. The possibility of personally choosing the meat directly at the counter before sitting down at the table was a unique and much appreciated experience. At the table, the quality of the meat confirmed the expectation: exceptional flavors, perfect cooking and careful presentation. We can only give 5 stars to this butcher's shop, for the atmosphere, the service and the quality of the products offered. A place we will definitely return to!

Magari lavorassero tutti così bene. Sono un'amante della carne e qui ho trovato varietà e qualità eccezionale su tutto quello che ho preso, dalla tartare alla carne arrostita, buonissimi anche i contorni, cipolle e parate arrostite e il dolce, un tortino al cioccolato. Ottimo anche il vino della casa, un buon Primitivo tradizionale. Tornerò sicuramente anche per provare la pastorale e la trippa. A presto!

Could be Gioia del Colle’s best kept secret! Vito is an excellent master of his craft, the quality of the meat selection offered was excellent and the tastes were absolutely mouth watering. Staff were super friendly and prices are super reasonable. In our short 5-day trip to Puglia, we just had to find a way to go there twice, and so we did!
