We got a table for two here on All Saints' Day around 4 pm, were the only tourists among all the locals, and loved it! Just order a set menu and take what you get. You won't be disappointed: first, a cold platter with regional ham, salami, and two delicious cheeses. A particularly tasty mozzarella. And bread so crispy we'd never had it anywhere else in southern Italy.
Then came slow-cooked meat in a flavorful sauce, and a platter with various cuts of meat and delicious sausages. The liver was also very tasty! A small sponge cake and coffee to finish. With wine and water, it was €20 per person. Absolutely recommended and, above all, very authentic!!! Since a large Italian family was celebrating a birthday at the next table, we were immediately welcomed and given travel tips about the area.

A very simple but welcoming brasserie.
I think it's run by members of the same family; they're very kind, welcoming, and helpful.
Clean.
Everything we ate was very good. I'd go back.

The culinary experience at Macelleria Braceria da zio Peppe shouldn't be talked about, but experienced! The food and service were fantastic. We'll definitely be back.

Restaurant directly connected to the butcher's shop just outside Alberobello.
We chose the medium-rare rib-eye steak, but as it wasn't very thick, it was a bit overcooked.
Plastic dishes.
The charcuterie and cheese platter is excellent. I've never had such good ricotta.

We had a wonderful meal, a very friendly and cheerful waiter, and top-quality produce. The owner wanted to take us back to the campsite nearby. Another big thank you for everything, and we recommend eating there.

Great quality simple and delicious food. Place gets fuller after 8PM. Family owned business with a lot of charm. A local farm with produce like wine, limoncello, various meats. Try the antipasto you won’t regret the steak too! The caciocavallo cheese is amazing! 😻
