Porceddu TOP, small and delicious, and very easy to make at home: half a piglet, salt and pepper, static oven at 180°C. 1 hour and 20 minutes rind side down, another hour rind side up, and then, without turning, 10 minutes under the grill until the rind is crispy (be careful not to burn it) 😜

Besides finding a friendly and helpful person like Giampaolo, I found the "Porceddu," or Sardinian suckling pig, that deserves to be called such. Truly top-notch!!!

I've been regularly getting my supplies from Giampaolo for a few years; his kindness, his expertise, and the quality of his ingredients make all the difference. I also had the opportunity to buy half a suckling pig and bake it following his advice...it felt like I was in Sardinia! 👏🏻

07/12/2025: Piedmontese cuisine, a very traditional location. The boiled meat is very good, even if a bit delicate in some parts, such as the cotechino. Risotto of the day, Jerusalem artichoke and blue cheese, is amazing! The typical Piedmontese appetizers are expensive for the portions... a taste of the tourist-friendly bagna cauda... very... in fact, definitely too delicate... and the agnolotti with roast beef sauce were not up to par, neither in the sauce nor in the cooking of the agnolotti... that can happen sometimes... I'll order something else next time. Always a good place, but this time I wasn't entirely satisfied with some of the dishes and the price/quality ratio. All things considered, the bill was excessive overall.
02/12/2025: Historic restaurant in the city center, with knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly staff. The food is good; the only drawback is the Piedmontese-style fritto misto, which I strongly advise against. The price is in line with the food and location.

23/10/2025: Um... I didn't like some things, and others, well, I don't know, that's art, I guess. I don't understand what a person bending aluminum wire could be like. I don't get it.
