Great find! Location adjacent to the Ticino, easy to get there and park. It was a dinner with friends, traditional dishes with quality raw materials. Friendly service, much appreciated. I recommend it!

Historic tavern located in Battella, a hamlet of Travacò Siccomario. The environment is refined and welcoming at the same time. The dishes are prepared with care and are very pleasant. The cured meats are excellent. The dining room staff is very kind and attentive to customers. Excellent wine list, with many of the best cellars of the Oltrepò Pavese. Excellent value for money. The only flaw: the main room is a bit noisy if there are a lot of people.

Disappointed compared to the previous experience. The menu does not reflect the offer and the questionable quality. Little attention to the customer in the service. In Pavia there are far superior proposals at the same price.

True traditional local food. Nothing pretensious, just good quality, local ingredients. Ravioli with duck and cacao was excellent. Nice company too...

Trattoria molto carina, accogliente, appena fuori da Pavia lungo l’argine del Ticino. Servizio rapido, cortese e ed efficiente. Antipasto molto buono, vino in bottiglia meno che ordinario, caffè tiepido, imbevibile. Lumache ottime: purtroppo, non si capisce per quale motivo, le infilano in un cestino di pasta fillo che si disfa (mi è stato servito spappolato): meglio sarebbe usare la polenta, è meno impegnativa da impiattare e pure più buona. La nefasta influenza dei cooking show si avverte anche nei dolci: sbrisolona con zabaione, discreta ma zabaione pochissimo, spalmato sul piatto a baffo. Perché non usare una ciotolina, così basta per tutta la porzione? Un bel posto che rischia di venire rovinato dalla paura di non essere abbastanza moderni, o almeno così mi è parso. Il conto abbastanza elevato in rapporto al cibo, decisamente alla buona. Peccato.
