L'Unico In Salerno

We were so lucky to have dinner at L’Unico during our short time in Salerno. The owner took time to share information about local wines, talked to us about the fresh seafood (ours was caught that morning) and our experience was so special. The food was amazing (we shared pasta and fish) and the dessert to die for. Thank you so much for making our evening one to remember.

Amazing. We met two waiters, one from Tucumán and the other from Jujuy. We were tourists from Buenos Aires, joined by a man from Salta and his Parisian partner. A lovely moment, enjoying the restaurant's exquisite food among fellow countrymen.

Excellent little restaurant serving typical Italian cuisine. We tried the stuffed anchovies, then the spaghetti with shellfish, and the pasta with peeled pink shrimp in a bisque sauce. For dessert, a ricotta tart with chocolate chips! The service was very pleasant, friendly, and professional. We'll be back!

Although we went three years ago, we still remember the place with the wonderful taste left in our mouths by the food and the excellent service.

When a sudden heavy rain shower brings you to the nearest restaurant and you nearly do not walk in as it looks like there is no space but you are surprised beyond belief and feel it was your destiny to find it! We were offered a table for two and were brought the extensive menu on a huge chalk board! The owner (we think) explained every item on it and there was a story and history behind each dish. The restaurant itself is bright and fresh with very simple, modern and arty decoration. The food was delicious. It feel like a passion to please rather than a restaurant to feed. A chance encounter with other regular, local customers dictated our whole trip from then on, both on a tourist and food front. Should we ever return to Salerno we will head straight there come rain or shine. Grazie mille team Unico (and friends!) for a wonderful moment!

Pequeño restaurante de mariscos con encanto, buena comida y gran servicio. Los platos de pasta realmente dieron en el lugar. Muy recomendable.
