I love Luis restaurant! It's one of those places I always come back to. The cuisine is traditional Romagna cuisine, with authentic and popular flavors that taste of home and tradition. The veranda is splendid, overlooking the hills: a corner of peace that makes every meal even more pleasant. The staff is always very kind, welcoming and attentive, and the prices are really excellent, especially considering the quality of the food and the atmosphere of the place. A place to feel good, eat divinely and enjoy the view. Super recommended!

The food is good...typical of Romagna...every now and then we have to have little luck (unlucky table) where everything doesn't go right...it's a shame because we ate well and the owner wasn't bad at all

Perched in a small village on the Bertinoro hills, Collinello, there is the Luis Restaurant which offers various dishes among the tastiest of the Romagna tradition. We went there last Saturday evening in the company of a couple of dear friends from Cesenatico. To reach it you need to follow the signs for Bertinoro, if you go up from San Vittore di Cesena, following a road that winds through the Romagna countryside, and then park at the beginning of the village in a large car park with a wonderful view of Cesena and the Riviera. The restaurant is just under 3 minutes away on foot in the center of Collinello. Inside there are several rooms that can accommodate at least a hundred people, but as often happens in places where you eat well, you need to book to avoid not finding a seat, not so much for couples, but for small groups of people. Let me start by saying that there is no paper menu so you have to pay close attention to the waiters who verbally list the dishes of the day, from starters to first courses and finally to second courses. We preferred to bypass the appetizers to dedicate ourselves to tasting first and second courses. As mentioned, there were 4 of us and we ordered a second soup and 3 meat dishes as second courses. As first courses we find fresh pasta prepared by Mrs. Donatella (granddaughter of the first owner, Luis, hence the name of the restaurant) who offers from tagliatelle to cappelletti, from homemade ravioli to strozzapreti, accompanied by meat sauce, hare, vegetables, including capelletti broth. We opted for Tagliatelle with hare ragù and Ravioli filled with herbs and porcini mushrooms: satisfying portions, excellent quality of pasta as well as ragù. For the second course we ordered a portion of Salmì wild boar, a stewed roe deer and a pan-roasted one, accompanied by 2 portions of "Luis's potato" and the handmade Romagna Piadina signed "LUIS". Even in this case, generous portions, so much so that we barely ate it all: obviously if there is anything left over you can do the classic "doggy bag" and take the leftovers home, something that several diners at other tables did. All washed down with a bottle of red and 2 bottles of water. We were so full that we settled for 3 sorbets and 1 slice of dessert, as well as 1 coffee. Final price per couple equal to Euro 69.00=, in line with other places in the area. A truly beautiful place that offers excellent traditional Romagna peasant dishes. A suggestion, in addition to booking the table in advance, is to try to arrive at the restaurant by 7.30/7.45pm in order to order and dine in a reasonable time, this is because despite the professionalism of the waiters and owners, when the place fills up you can risk having to wait ""a little time"" which for some may even be fine, but for others (noticed in their looks around 9.00pm) it could represent a moment of discomfort.

We were just today to eat in this rustic restaurant on the Romagna hills!!! We took two first courses, Tagliatelle with hare and ravioli with porcini mushrooms, good on average!!!! Then we moved on to the second course, taking the baked guinea fowl and two side dishes!!! Very good piadina… Unfortunately, the mix of guinea fowl and chicken that arrived at the table (be careful, reheated) was certainly not appreciated... It's a shame you caught the wrong people who sometimes understand when working in the restaurant industry... I would really avoid doing these maneuvers... Meanwhile, the owner was informed and in his pleasant way he didn't even apologize, blaming the people who work in his kitchen... Easy like that Compliments!!!! People only look at price and quantity but quality must also be noted we will never go back again...

First time I go to this restaurant and I must say that I left satisfied. A dinner with friends on an ordinary Wednesday. From the delicious piadina to the first courses, to the stratospheric Florentine, very tender 🤤 together with a good red wine. Then fried and baked potatoes, au gratin vegetables, desserts, coffee and coffee killer. All very good. Excellent service and absolutely fair price. To return

Un ottimo pranzo con la cucina romagnola della tradizione e delle feste. La piada di accompagnamento già da sola merita una visita...tortellini super (anche se preferisco la sfoglia sottile ma è questione di gusti) capretto e cinghiale mooolto buoni e una zuppa inglese da dividere almeno in due perché ottima e molto abbondante...mi consiglio di tornarci presto anche per lo splendido panorama...

10/03/2025: Everything was excellent, first courses, meats and side dishes. The traditional Romagna dishes are particularly tasty. Duscreto house wine. Good service and very friendly staff. Cozy place. Good price quality. I highly recommend it. When I go to Sarsina it is a must.

Il Posto delle Fragole

09/02/2025: L' atmosfera è piacevole. Nonostante il locale fosse pieno il servizio è stato curato e veloce. Il menù è molto ricco e c'è anche il fuori menù altrettanto ricco. Sfizioserie e piatti della tradizione, tutto molto buono e prezzi nella media.
25/11/2024: Su suggerimento di mio cognato, ho provato questo agriturismo. Innanzitutto c'è da segnalare un comodo parcheggio (il quale ho trovato vuoto inizialmente e pienissimo all'uscita) È articolato su piano unico ma con più sale. Devo dire che il menù di base è completo, inoltre sono disponibili i "fuori menù" Tutto quello assaggiato nelle foto in allegato è stato preparato e presentato in modo impeccabile. Anche il conto mi è sembrato onesto. L'unica cosa da migliorare è la coordinazione tra lo staff di sala (alcune ragazze molto giovani) Ma sono certo che con il tempo verrà affinato anche questo aspetto. Per il momento complimenti 👍🏼
