Esperienza molto piacevole. Personale gentile e disponibile.

I was a bit worried with the bad reviews that Da Luigi had recently, but the place is amazing and exceeded expectations! We arrived at 10am and there were only a few other people there. We were offered a couple different sunbeds that we could pick from, with them saying one side is windy and the second is sunny. The place is so beautiful and the service was really good. We ate at the restaurant as well and although the food wasn’t mind blowing, it was nice. The bill took a bit long time to organise, but that is expected as we were finishing up when everyone else was just starting to come for their meal. The location is beautiful and so enjoyable. It is expensive but as it’s Capri it was understandable!

Great beach club! It’s expensive but that’s capri so it shouldn’t hinder the experience. You need to be prepared to spend around €150-200 per person for the day and obviously more if you want to drink a lot. The location is gorgeous and the walk down is also stunning it’s about 30 mins though so if you have issues walking then get a water taxi. Food is decent.

Do not miss !
This is, by far, the most beautiful beach in the island, situated right under the Faraglioni ! The price is very reasonable compared to other beaches of the same caliber (105€ per person, with 60€ consommable in food and drinks), and the experience is unforgettable !
The restaurant is also very good, with fresh fish dishes and the pasta malafeminna that was invented in the restaurant.
Do not hesitate, I sure won’t !

TL/DR: Gorgeous swimming views, bring towels/hat/snacks, huge service/staffing issues, use the credit for drinks / don’t eat here and you’ll have a good time.
I came here for an event organized by friends. I paid €115 for the sun-bed (with the €60 drink/food credit included). Note: an umbrella costs extra. I arrived and left on foot: steep but manageable if you are in relatively OK physical shape ( / if you have mobility issues, consider a water-taxi to/from the venue). I arrived around 11:30 with no wait to get in, but ten minutes later the rest of our group was stuck in the wait that took longer than an hour for them to get in & seated. First red flag of staffing/service issues because the bottleneck was easily avoidable if they had more than one person handling seating.
I brought my own towel, hat, sunscreen, fruits, snacks, water in a bag. Plan was to have a big breakfast at home, then spend 11am to 5pm at Da Luigi swimming/drinking/tanning/chatting, then have a big dinner afterwards once back in town, making me only depend on the staff to 1) get seated and 2) use my drink credit three times for cocktails (each cocktail was €20; they were fine / nothing exceptional).
The real reason to pay the €115 is to have access to the best closed off ocean / swimming views of Capri: you’re directly next to the Faraglioni, the water is amazing, with gorgeous colors, clear and not too salty (I was stunned to learn I could open my eyes swimming underwater without it stinging).
Note: There is no lifeguard whatsoever so please only go in the water if you are with at least one comfortable swimmer, as the waters can get choppy and the 2 entrance/exit ladders are not the easiest to use for those with any mobility issues or weak swimmers. (I am a PADI Divemaster, and trained lifeguard, and I had to help a friend manage a minor panic attack in the water as she was scared of the environment).
Special honorable mention to the bartender who did an excellent job handling the stress of being completely overwhelmed with a job that really ought to be two or three people, given the size of the restaurant and the amount of sun-beds downstairs. During the lunch service rush he had a line of people from the sunbeds ordering cocktails, while trying to make the restaurant drink orders simultaneously. He was going as fast as he could, but some customers were getting visibly frustrated at their delays, and I wished for everyone that he had more help behind the bar. He was very friendly with me and my group, even remembering my drink order by the second visit. Grazie to you, bartender!
Conclusion: That swimming area plus 3 decent cocktails for 5-6 hours makes for a lovely day at the ocean to suntan/swim/read/drink/chat, but I totally understand the 1-star reviews given how chaotically awful the service overall is & the quality of the food seems to be. (Unfortunate given the uniquely gorgeous location).
