Everything was wonderful, from the appetizer to the dessert, to the care of the waiters and the chef.

I received a lunch/dinner voucher for two. The welcome was warm, like being at a friend's house. Chef Pomata is there, present and available, asking about any allergies or intolerances and offering a "surprise" tasting. From the vegetable tempura at the beginning to the "birramisu" at the end, through the linguine with fresh tuna, the octopus on casizzolu fondue, and the breaded tuna fillet, it's a succession of authentic flavors, dishes expertly revisited but original and genuine. Attentive, courteous service, thorough in explaining the dishes, never intrusive. The atmosphere is minimal but high-quality, and the noise level is almost non-existent. A notable detail: the price includes drinks and coffee. Definitely worth it!

When we were here for the first time, Luigi was there and everything worked as it should, we are here for the second time today and it is clear that Luigi is not there, confusing, a bit disrespectful, they separate based on appearance, and the service is lagging behind,

There's no need to explain who Luigi Pomata is. His name is a guarantee, his family has been in the restaurant business for generations. The quality obviously matches his fame. Located right in the city center, it's advisable to book in advance because it boasts a very loyal local clientele, whom the Chef welcomes with affection and is visibly reciprocated. Tasting the rich selection, it's clear why, living in Cagliari, one cannot help but become a loyal customer. And so it would have been for us too, if only we were lucky enough to be from Cagliari 😅 The cuisine is quite high-quality and every dish offers an incredible experience. The fish is obviously "almost alive," so fresh is it, and the risotto in particular made me fall in love (and it reminds me a little of "L'ombelico del mondo" by a well-known Milanese chef, for the similar mise en plat). Fantastic desserts (even lactose-free!). I thank Mr. Pomata for his kindness at the end of the evening, which gave us a very interesting chat about his professional experience. Congratulations!

The renowned chef Luigi Pomato runs this modernly styled restaurant in Cagliari's old town. The chef greeted us personally, and the dishes were sophisticated. The wine pairings, expertly selected by the knowledgeable and extremely friendly Enrico, were superb. Some courses of the seven-course tasting menu were unusual and combinations we hadn't encountered before. The restaurant's vaulted ceiling makes it quite reverberant, which resulted in a rather distracting noise level that evening. The ingredients used were of the highest quality. It's well worth a visit.

A wonderful experience, a minimal but well-kept space, very friendly and knowledgeable staff...excellent food and very fresh ingredients. The prices are fair for the service, quality, and preparation of the dishes offered. I highly recommend it. Antonio

Always a great place to have amazing food and the best tuna in town! Great wine and service always spot on!

I had a tuna tartare on mozzarella foam for an appetizer, and I have to say it was delicious. For the first course, the Mediterranean fregola was unfortunately a bit too flavorful for my taste, dry and served on a shallow plate. In other restaurants, they serve it like soup in a deep dish; I would have enjoyed it more if it had been more soupy. For the second course, the suckling pig was excellent. The place is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and professional. If you're looking for a treat, this is the place to go. Based on my personal experience, I'd rate it 4 out of 5 stars, because the fregola wasn't top-notch for me, but that doesn't mean the place isn't worthy of a 5-star rating.

A pleasant experience. I went for lunch and ordered the tuna tasting menu. I tried dishes using different parts of the tuna (some I'd never tried before), and there were plenty of pleasant surprises. Interesting.
