The waiter was super kind and helpful, made us feel as if we were at home. The food was ok, but nothing special. We were there in winter, and is was quite cold inside. I understand sometimes you have to wait longer for the meal, but the waiting time of almost 1.5 hour was a bit too long.

Positive: Warm staff, very friendly, good atmosphere and a limoncello on the house.
Negative: Food mediocre, portion rather small and quality was not good for the price.

Welcoming, the owner also very welcoming. The menu is a bit limited, it is advisable to consult the staff for additions and variations. Cost normal, as is the quantity of food on the plate. Maybe they go a little too far with the garlic to my taste

Good food although it doesn't justify the price. Extremely kind and helpful owner but terrible, terrible, terrible chef who sits in the room coughing and insulting the waiter in front of the customers. Going to a restaurant isn't just about eating what's on your plate, it's about the conviviality that revolves around it. Atmosphere ruined by this rude person.

Very very very warm host and a super friendly, accommodating team. The food was great in every way. We tried almost the entire menu on three visits and were always impressed. For 3 to 4 courses the price-performance ratio was great.
The ambience is an absolute eye-catcher. There is something to discover everywhere. It was furnished with a lot of love and taste. Thank you very much for the 3 really nice evenings. I would be happy to come back when I am in Lucca.

We were guests here on several evenings. The food was great, the restaurant was very cozy and Michele is a host with a lot of heart.

Given that the food is not bad, but we arrived at 8.00 pm, we ordered two starters and two first courses, after an hour the first courses arrived and the starters were forgotten, the owner, climbing on mirrors, seeing as we had sent them back the dishes, he came to the table making a thousand excuses and in any case he convinced us to eat the first courses since they were already ready and to apologize he brought a taste of seafood inhalation which he didn't add to the bill.
Having said this, a piece of advice, help the cook also because she is good and if I return to Lucca in a while I will try again.

What a wonderful evening we had . Micheal is an amazing host who couldn’t do enough for us. The food and wine was excellent would highly recommend this to anyone who is visiting Lucca . Look forward to eating there again when we return
