My dad and I ate at this restaurant on the Navigli canals and had a wonderful time! We ordered a Milanese cutlet and a Milanese risotto with ossobuco: both delicious, impeccably prepared. The cutlet was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, pan-fried with butter as tradition dictates—truly perfect. The risotto, creamy and fragrant with saffron, accompanied by a tender ossobuco, was a dish to remember.
The restaurant is welcoming, with a splendid location on the Navigli canals, and the staff is kind and helpful.
🔸 I recommend booking, as it's often busy (and rightfully so!).
I will definitely be back, because finding such authentic and refined cuisine in Milan is no small feat. 👏🇮🇹

Disappointing lunch on the Navigli
A typical Milanese restaurant on the Navigli. The dishes are plentiful and well-cooked. Prices are high, however, especially the cover charge (3 euros per person) and water (3 euros per bottle), which are disappointing, and I'm taking a rating off.

I had the pleasure of having lunch here on a Sunday, and I have to say it was absolutely worth it! My wife and I had the veal ossobuco with Milanese risotto and elephant ear. What can I say...exceptional!!! The ossobuco melted in your mouth, you could cut it with a fork...a delight!! The cutlet (although calling it that would be an understatement) was a true delicacy. Both of us left the table full and happy! Try it and believe it! We'll definitely be back to try the other dishes on the menu! Bravo!

It's always nice to stroll along the Navigli, and even better to stop for dinner at a place like this. The place is very well-kept, and the staff is attentive and knowledgeable. The food selection is aimed squarely at tourists; the dishes, even traditional ones, are well-made and made with high-quality ingredients. The mondeghili are very tasty and reminded me of the ones my mother used to make. The desserts are delicious: the tiramisu was generous in both quantity and flavor. We dined at an outdoor table, but the passing crowd didn't bother us. Good value, especially considering the location.

I went with my family. It was a very nice place, with good prices for the Navigli area.
We ate really well. We had the risotto with osso buco and the elephant ear cutlet, both very good. Excellent location on the Navigli, next to Vicolo Lavandai, a historic alley in Milan where people used to go to wash their clothes.

Na wat slenteren door Milaan gingen we op zoek naar een restaurantje langs het water in Naviglio.
Nadat je al langs allerlei vreselijke zaken bent gelopen waar de obers je binnen proberen te hengelen komt dit barretje leuk en rustig over.
Het personeel hebben wij ervaren als attent, oplettend en vriendelijk. Wel hadden ze iets meer uitleg kunnen geven bij bepaalde dingen, zoals even vertellen wat er allemaal voor kazen op de kaasplank liggen. Wel waren de kazen lekker.
De drankjes, zoals de spritz en mijn wijnen waren lekker. Het eten was prima, hoewel ik mijn hoofdgerecht eigenlijk meer zou classificeren als een voorgerecht.
