Wonderful, authentic restaurant, serving traditional milanese dishes. Friendly staff and cosy, relaxed environment, over looking the canal. Menu in Italian and English. Staff gave good recommendations, which did not disappoint. The veal/bone marrow saffron risotto was amazing, perfectly cooked tagliatelle and the beef stew with polenta was also tasty. Good value for money, so much so, we ate here twice during our stay in Milan. Would recommend.

Amazing ossobuco and tiramisu!!

We ate the lasagna and pasta with tomato sauce and bacon. Both were very, very tasty! The pasta was cooked al dente and the sauces were very tasty and spicy. For the food I would give 5/5 stars! You pay €3 per person per cover. Seems to be common in the region, I've also experienced it in Como and Venice. The atmosphere by the water was very nice. The service was very quick, but a bit rushed. On the other hand, as I said, they were very fast. We were served quickly and didn't have to wait long for our food. I would recommend the restaurant and absolutely don't understand why it was rated so poorly - a total shame and not in keeping with reality. When we arrived it was still quite empty, but around lunchtime it filled up quite quickly. Maybe a reservation would be advisable, but the food is definitely worth it.
