What a fantastic and genuine experience! This is a rare find—a restaurant that manages to be both refined and genuinely welcoming. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel completely at ease, creating an atmosphere that was both comfortable and elegant. The table service was attentive and friendly, adding to the wonderful vibe. ​The food was absolutely outstanding, and you could taste the passion in every dish. The star of the show was undoubtedly the pulpo. It was tender, perfectly seasoned, and grilled to perfection, a true testament to the kitchen's skill. What really sets this place apart, though, is the open kitchen. Watching the chefs at work was a treat. You could see the joy and pride on their faces as they prepared each plate. They weren't just cooking; they were clearly having fun, and that energy translated directly into the incredible food on our table. ​This is the kind of place you'll want to come back to again and again. It's fine dining without the fuss, where great food, a wonderful atmosphere, and exceptional service are the top priorities. Highly recommended!

A culinary experience worth trying. The food was excellent. The rack of lamb was fabulous.

We were there yesterday. We've been customers for several years now. Like every other time, we had a wonderful time. The food was of the highest quality, and the dishes surpassed our imagination. Not only culinary, they were true works of art. The service was excellent, impeccable, and very professional. We were greeted with warmth (as always). After a short wait, we were promptly received and served shortly thereafter. The wine cellar was well-stocked, and then it was time to leave, but we had the desire to return soon. I recommend anyone to spend an evening here. The place is accessible to everyone, and there's even a convenient wheelchair ramp.

A very good restaurant that stands out from the usual, one-size-fits-all fare. We had, among other dishes, veal sweetbreads and super-delicious lamb chops. And everything was prepared with a personal touch. One star less for the ambiance, as we missed the traditional printed menu. Scrolling through your phone is a good fit for fast-food restaurants. But with this class of food, a nice menu to browse through is simply a must.

In the center of town, yet still discreet. The food is excellent, with a few exceptions (see the eggplant appetizer and ricotta dessert), and the fish is incredibly fresh, and you can taste it. Our waiter was quick, attentive, and friendly. It's not exactly a cheap restaurant, but it's worth the money. For us, it's a go-to.

Unfortunately, we discovered this restaurant on the last evening of our stay in San Teodoro, and after a snack that had partially sapped our appetite. We ordered ravioli del plin, filled with excellent meat and black truffle, and a complex but delicate fish main course. The wine recommended by the glass was excellent, and the desserts were truly commendable. Just one note: the ravioli cost six; increase the price of the plate and add a few more. In any case, it's a high-end restaurant worth considering for a cuisine made with local ingredients but prepared with a refined touch.

Lu Brutoni restaurant is located in the heart of San Teodoro on Via dei Gerani. I stayed here both in late July and the first ten days of August. We sampled several dishes during dinner, carefully prepared by the chef and meticulously presented, creating a perfect balance of flavors. The very unique dishes are clearly visible in the attached photos. The service throughout the dinner was efficient and attentive, with Sara deserving special mention for her kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism. The wine list offers an excellent and extensive selection. On both occasions, I was able to taste both the "Fiore del Sasso" wine from the Contralta winery and the Solianu wine from the Ledda winery. Both were excellent, and paired well with a fish-based menu.

This is not a typical eat a bowl of pasta, Italian restaurant. The menu is very authentic, and I really had to trust in our waiter as far as suggestions, but trust I did and the food was fantastic. They did have gluten-free options for my wife, including pasta, that she enjoyed with some seafood. Wonderful bread, presentation, and gluten-free bread options for her as well.
