Returned after a long time to this beer garden/restaurant in the central area between Via del Corso and Via del Babuino. Decent food, but the highlight is definitely the quality of the beer... truly remarkable. Very friendly and attentive service. Various menu, including Bavarian-style. Prices in line with the area. Also excellent for a stop.

Best carbonara I’ve ever had in my life and I’ve lived in Rome for 7 months. So trust me on this one, this place is great. Amazing service. Amazing food. Lovely experience! Ps. The tiramisu is not in the menu but if you ask for it, they will do it for you, DO NOT SKIP the tiramisu, it was fantastic!!!

The setting in an narrow alley usually offers peace in a hyper toursity town. But this alley allows cars to go through. So the dining experience is watching a slow stream of car scraping by. It is half-entertaining. Doing it for once is quite okay. Repeating it is not my dream. Service was not super fast, but I was not forgotten. And the young lady seemed to genuinely care that I enjoyed the food.

After a long tour, we enjoyed lunch on the restaurant's terrace. Friendly staff and delicious Italian and Bavarian cuisine.

The pork shank was amazing. Best I have had outside of Bavaria. My wife was not totally sold on the Weinershnitzel. Found it a little dry. We ate on the street side tables, so cannot comment on interior seating except it did look very nice. Had plenty of Italian dishes on the menu but nice to have something different to eat.

05/03/2026: Very tasty food. Very nice staff. Large portions, adequate value for money!!! I recommend 🫶🫶🫶
28/02/2026: A simple, old-fashioned trattoria. The atmosphere is dated but clean and welcoming. Traditional Roman dishes are served with generous portions and generous glasses of local wine. I wouldn't recommend the Milanese cutlet, as it seemed overdone. The pasta dishes, roast suckling pig, and the "abbraccio" with potatoes are top notch.
