A unique experience in the middle of Piazza Primo Maggio. As we exited the Chiesa delle Grazie, we were drawn by the smell of fried food, a kind of fried food that's rare to find these days. The price was fair for the generous portion we received. Between the fried food and Prosecco, you can also relax in the greenery of the square. A nice place, I recommend it.

Not much to say, the best fried calamari ever, and if you like them, get the shrimp version! Several other options to fill you up, whether it's an aperitif, lunch, or dinner. The chicken thigh sandwich is delicious! The canapés are also excellent, generously sized and well-filled! If you're passing through downtown Udine and are hungry, I'd say this is a must-try! I recommend eating them there, or at least, weather permitting, enjoying them on the grass in the square. Taking calamari away is strongly discouraged, as they cool down and become soggy!

This kiosk is nestled in the beautiful Piazza 1° Maggio, with a view of the Udine Castle and the Basilica of Our Lady of Grace. They're very good; the fried calamari is their signature dish. The draft beer is also excellent. It's worth stopping by...if you can find a spot.

Personale cordiale e gentilissimo! Mangiare ottimo, dal pesce alla carne. Un gran bel posto! I ragazzi e Miran il titolare, sono molto simpatici.
