If I pass through Viareggio it's now a fixed stop.
Street gourmet with a devastating selection of raw materials and decidedly generous dishes + strategic position with a pine forest and the sea just a stone's throw away (the "Gola" sandwich is in the top 3 of my life). At Marco you can enjoy yourself and it's always a pleasure to chat. Absolute King

More than just focaccia, a new flavor, when you choose a focaccia from chef Marco I recommend you sit down, close your eyes, bite and chew slowly, only then will those expertly dosed flavors explode in your mouth.
If you have seen the Disney cartoon Ratatouille, the scene of the explosion of colors while eating, well this is what I felt, the flavors exploded in my brain like colored flashes.
But there is not only food, here I discovered that there is a drink that goes far beyond the commercial, Cola, Orangeade and more that I can only define as "Gourmet Drink".
But all this food would be nothing without the cheerfulness of Marco the owner.
I only hope that he decides to open an Ottavo Vizio here in Bologna too.

Well-stocked street food, in a location near the Viareggio waterfront. Good quality of food, does not serve commercial drinks, neither alcoholic nor non-alcoholic.

“L'Ottavo Vizio” is a gem of Viareggio's gourmet street food: small but it doesn't go unnoticed.
The products chosen by Marco are carefully selected, local and of excellent quality. The drinks are also unique and not easily found.
You can eat from its delicious focaccias to classic sea and land dishes; even those who are vegan/vegetarian have the opportunity to eat here.
Personally, I ate the “L'Ottavo Vizio” focaccia: it is truly something special and very filling! Ginger tea is fresh and thirst-quenching.
Marco is a welcoming and cheerful person, he will make you feel at home!

Top quality food, soft scones (look at the menu board to choose), dessert with ricotta, truffle honey, chocolate, seasonal fruit and pink pepper, spectacular, I have to go back to try the ratatouille and then the fried seafood with rice flour batter, all just a stone's throw from the promenade, next to the Royal Hotel, next to the Anisare ice cream shop in Viareggio.

Abbiamo mangiato una “Ottavo Vizio”, una “Accidia” e a seguire la Ratatouoille. Porzioni appaganti ed ingredienti di ottima qualità. Se torneremo, faremo un’altra visita. Garantito.
