First time. Tiny takeout shop with a fabulous menu: incredibly original and delicious sandwiches. We tried the Vizio Gola with Chianina tuna, and Ira with zucchini flowers and orange zest, and... we decided to return to try the others. The owner is friendly and very kind. The Avarizia sandwich is brilliant: just bread (which is actually focaccia bread) with nothing inside, obviously extremely cheap! 😁. September 2025: Four years have passed, and we've been back every year (every time we pass through Viareggio), and it has never disappointed us. We'd tried almost all the "Vizi" (and a few small dishes), but never the Ottavo. So this time we try it: you think it's a normal burger, but you immediately realize it's not... Chianina beef burger, salad and cherry tomatoes, thin caciobuffalo cheese, magnificent caramelized Tropea onions, a little bell pepper, and... crispy pancetta, all in "their" special, delicious bread. And nothing... we even "dipped" the sauce left on the menu. Don't be scared by the price, it's worth it! The quality is excellent, the atmosphere small but welcoming, and the owner, Marco, is friendly and very helpful. And if you have to wait... just wait, you won't regret it. P.S. I'm not his sister! 😉

We had just finished a hike and wanted something quick, delicious and filling and we got it here! We had some amazing sandwiches. I have vegetarian one with zucchini flowers and it was delicious. The outdoor seating is shady and cool so perfect for a little break from the sun. The prices were super fair considering you get a massive sandwich! The staff were super nice!

Don't be fooled by the name: L'Ottavo Vizio isn't a sin, but a little corner of paradise. A kiosk that captivates from the first bite, thanks to excellent quality dishes and generous portions that satisfy both the palate and the appetite. Special praise goes to Marco, the owner: friendly, kind, cordial, always ready for a chat with a sincere smile. It's clear he deeply loves his job, and this passion is reflected in every detail, from the meticulous preparation to the warm welcome. We went to L'ottavo vizio Street Food in the evening and enjoyed our dinner there. The ambiance is rather simple – functional, but not particularly inviting. There are some seating areas for eating in, or you can also take your food to go. We were pleasantly surprised by the food: We ordered two Margherita pizzas, freshly topped with mozzarella – our children loved them. We also had two focaccias: one with tuna, ham, arugula, and fresh tomatoes, and another with cooked ham, mozzarella, and basil. Both were delicious, moist, and generously topped – no comparison to the dry focaccia you unfortunately often get. The service was also very pleasant – the waitresses were extremely friendly and helpful. Communication in English worked perfectly. The taste was truly impressive. One minor criticism remains, however, regarding the price: Almost €30 for two focaccias seems a bit high to us – the prices here are clearly heavily influenced by the surrounding restaurants, which may not be entirely appropriate for a street food concept. In conclusion: The good, fresh food, especially the focaccias, is highly recommended. If you don't care much about the ambiance and are willing to pay a little more, you'll get solid quality here – and friendly service, too.

Non gli daresti un centesimo da fuori. Ma il cibo è spettacolare. Insalata dell'orto freschissima, condimento eccellente, patatine fritte top, servizio veloce. Veranda esterna ottima per sedersi e gustarsi tutto in santa pace, per una pausa pranzo veloce e non impegnativa. Titolare alla mano, attento, simpatico ed entusiasta, appassionato in ciò che fa. Tutto è green e comodissimo grazie alla sensibilità del titolare. Box, posate, bicchieri, bottiglie in vetro. Posizione centro Viareggio. Prezzi onesti. Ottimo, se passo ancora ci torno sicuro.

Frequento questo locale da anni, un vero street food gourmet, e devo dire che ogni volta è un viaggio sensoriale per il palato! Il titolare, oltre a essere un amico, dimostra grande attenzione nel suo lavoro, mettendoci sempre passione e cura. La passione è il vero ingrediente quando si vuole raggiungere l’eccellenza in ciò che si fa. A questo giro, ci sono andato insieme alla mia compagna Romana a far assaggiare questo piccolo angolo e ne è rimasta deliziata dalla Focaccina "l'Ottavo Vizio". Che dire?
