L’Ottavo Nano In Brescia

A classic Italian city pizzeria, but with a fresh and welcoming touch outside, perfect for relaxing and enjoying excellent food in a green, airy, and well-insulated setting, especially since it's located in a very quiet and liveable neighborhood of Brescia. It should be noted right away that the pizza is generous and very topped! And yet, it's also excellent quality! In short, the abundance shouldn't mask anything, because the dough is delicious and very unique, and the menu offers pizzas with a wide variety of original toppings, all served with fresh, atypical, and generous ingredients! Even though I hadn't had lunch that day due to work, I was completely satisfied and full at dinner! The service is very lively, youthful, and friendly, and all of this makes for a very friendly atmosphere, suitable for both a more formal outing and a carefree outing with friends. The prices are absolutely fair and in line with local restaurants in the city and the region. Even though I'd lost my coffee order, I went inside to ask for one at a very late hour and with the machine already cleaned. The owner and the staff still served me coffee, and even offered it to me! So, how could you not appreciate this pizzeria, perfect for any time of day, any day of the week?! Well done, really well done! And the pizza was excellent! Thanks again for a pleasant evening!

Always excellent pizza. Excellent ingredients and combinations. Fast, no-frills service. More than fair prices. All this in a world of fake pizzerias with Michelin-starred prices, gourmet pizzas, and fake Neapolitan pizzas. Well done.

I'll start by saying I'm not a mozzarella fan, so this review is very, very subjective. The pizzeria menu is unique and interesting, but the ingredients aren't changeable, as written and highlighted on each page. I spot a pizza without mozzarella, the "Tuna and Onions My Way," with some interesting variations on the theme. When it's time to order, the waitress apologizes and tells us that two of the pizzas on the menu aren't available that evening...naturally, one was the one I'd chosen. I quickly look for an alternative; the pizza is made with Fiordilatte DOP mozzarella, and I ask if they'd be kind enough to use a small amount. The waitress kindly tells me not to worry, as their pizzas are very well-balanced in terms of ingredients. When they arrive, excellent timing and a nice visual, I notice that it's quite white. I cut the first slice and found myself covered in mozzarella... Nothing to complain about the quality and value of the product. They must have put the equivalent of two mozzarella balls on a pizza. Unfortunately, I only managed to eat half, and from that half, I removed 50% of the mozzarella (an incredible waste and shame. I can't stand having to throw away food, especially when it's high quality). Again, I'm sorry I'm a bit of a white fly and don't like mozzarella, but when asked for a specific ingredient dosage (often related to intolerances, etc.), greater attention and flexibility should be shown.

A decent, simple, and clean place. My wife and I tried it for the first time just today, and I have to say it was a pleasant discovery. I'd say pizza here is art! You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the passion for creating unique variations. The location is very simple. Here, being is more important than appearing! A bit like the old days! A pizzeria for those who love pizza, the real thing. Not the crap with the oversized crust and a useless ring of overpriced toppings inside. Here, the pizza is large, hearty, the dough excellent, the ingredients excellent, and the price fair. A neighborhood pizzeria with no pretensions, other than serving excellent pizza. No social media hype, strong ideas from the owners (which I think is even commendable), and quality. The end. Want gold leaf and Instagram bullshit? Go somewhere else. Want pizza? Probably one of the best in Brescia.

Excellent, large pizzas! They offer unique combinations that go perfectly! The place and the people are friendly. Highly recommended! You can see and taste the dedication to top-quality products! They don't take reservations, but during the week, it's easy to find a table. I never have time to take a photo of the pizza because it's so good and I have to eat right away :)

Very good pizza, with quality ingredients but above all, sophisticated pairings. They've carefully crafted combinations of ingredients that aren't typically found in pizzerias, or at least not in traditional pizzerias. The pizza is generously sized, barely fitting on the plate. The crust is thick, and the pizza is well-rolled. Absolutely recommended. I hope to return soon to try other interesting pairings I've seen among the extensive menu options.

Besides the pizza being delicious for my taste... I even got a smile from the girls who served us...
