Welcoming and rugged, truly wonderful, the food was excellent, the anchovies were excellent, the seafood risotto exquisite, the only complaint being the open transparent curtain where a not-so-pleasant icy wind blew in. Stars, stars, stars to you all!

Tried it by chance... After browsing a few restaurants in the area, I tried the ostricaio. Right on the sea, with street parking. It's a small place, but I tried it in the winter, so it didn't have the beautiful view and the scent of the sea. The dining room is small as soon as you enter, with just a few tables, and then the outdoor dining area. I think it's connected to the beach in the summer, but it was closed and heated. The raw fish was excellent... Excellent value for money.

L'Ostricaio is always a guarantee of quality, although in my opinion the menu could use some changes, including some classics (there were no seafood or clam spaghetti). Even the main courses lacked fish dishes like sea bass, sea bream, etc., while shellfish are plentiful.
I would also add red wine, which isn't available but is sometimes requested. Also, add a chocolate dessert, which many people like.

I knew this place...but it was a nice return. Everything was very good, including the raw fish. I recommend trying the sgroppino after lunch, followed by the Livorno Ponce.
The place could use a bit of a makeover.

You eat by the sea. That alone would make it worth coming here. Very good food, generous portions, very good wines. We waited a bit, but it was Saturday, peak time...
