L'Ostricaio In Livorno

Good food, average prices. Service a bit long... maybe because it was a holiday and therefore crowded, we had to wait a long time with courses arriving alternately (second course before the appetizer). Anyway the restaurant is nice and informal.

Right in front of the sea...possible to sit inside but I recommend outside...very good quality quantity price.. Congratulations 👏.. on everything

The restaurant gains seats on hot days or in summer because they take advantage of the space outside. The interior is quite small. Poor quantity of wines by the glass Food sufficiently good and carefully prepared Friendly staff

Good food with a sea view, shame about the tables, which I found to be very close to each other. It would certainly be more evocative in the summer, but with the rain in mid-season the environment is affected a bit.

Simple but very well looked after and evocative environment by the sea!!! The food was amazing, I found the price a little high but it deserved everything 👍

If you want the flavors of Livorno, this is a place to stop...

Small but cozy restaurant with a beautiful sea view, friendly and helpful staff, fast, delicious food I ate really well I recommend booking in advance to have a table on the veranda

Siamo state a pranzo in questo piccolo posto ma molto carino, quel che è certo è che abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Il personale è molto gentile. Se passate a vedere terrazza Mascagni fermatevi a mangiare qui!!

Non è la prima volta che ceno dall'Ostricaio di Livorno. In estate è piacevolissimo cenare, all'aperto, davvero davanti al mare; d'inverno, beh, direi che è meglio lo spazio interno :D. Lo spazio non è poi molto grande, mancando il dehor estivo, consiglio, perciò, di prenotare. Il personale è estremamente gentile e accogliente; i piatti offerti sono di ottimo livello e il prezzo è certamente adeguato e non eccessivo. Per giustificare il titolo dato a questa recensione, che potrebbe sembrare irriverente, debbo precisare che l'abbondanza è data davvero dalla quantità del cibo proposto che non fa venir meno, anzi, la qualità dello stesso. Tra gli antipasti suggerisco il polpo; se volete poi proseguire e siete davvero amanti del polpo, ve lo consiglio su un piacevole "letto" di purea di patate. Personalmente, ho apprezzato molto gli gnocchi (fatti in casa) con salsa di scampi e piacevolissimi pezzi di gambero. Decisamente un posto che merita e dove, sicuramente, tornerò.
