L'Osteria in Aboca In Sansepolcro

Last Sunday, I went to this restaurant in Aboca for lunch with my friends after a trek. A well-kept place, young staff, and a nice menu. Excellent service from two attractive young women. If I may offer a piece of advice, in such a large, rustic, and beautiful room, installing an electric heater is not only pointless, but also an eyesore—a real shame. You'd need to invest a bit of money into a nice wood-burning stove, perhaps a cast iron one with copper pipes. Besides making the room much more beautiful and welcoming, it would also heat the very cold environment for those sitting down to eat. That said, I'd recommend this place, but not in the winter.

We arrived from Rimini for a trip to Sansepolcro. We found this restaurant in a charming and peaceful setting. The staff was professional, kind, and helpful. The food was excellent, respectful of tradition. Excellent wine list. We highly recommend it and will definitely return.

I fell in love with it 30 years ago, discovering it by chance while traveling. I fondly remembered the dining room (a gem, just four tables and a fireplace) and the good food. I was in the area at the end of August and returned. At first, it didn't seem like the same place, having seen a large dining room, but the owner (very kind and efficient), after my story, took me on a tour of the various rooms and... I saw it again! What a thrill, exactly how I remembered it. But back to the present. The tables are well spaced so there's no crowding, and you can even eat outside. The food is still very good; we particularly enjoyed the dishes pictured (Cold cuts and crostini platter/Tortelli del plin/Porcini ravioli/Coconut panna cotta) as well as the beef tartare, fried porcini mushrooms, and guinea fowl fillet. The wine list is remarkable, both in quality and quantity. My only suggestion: expand the dessert selection, as it doesn't quite live up to the rest of the menu. Good value for money. Highly recommended.

It was around lunchtime in Arezzo, and we were looking for somewhere to eat. Tripadvisor recommended this place, and it was a delightful discovery! Relaxing atmosphere, excellent food and meat! Gourmet desserts and a remarkable wine list! The service was courteous and professional, without being intrusive. Recommended!
