A motorcycle ride to Varese Ligire, stopping for lunch. A small osteria with a limited menu, but it manages to hide a few gems. The pesto croxetti are worth the trip alone. The vitello tonnato is also worth trying. The appetizer was less appreciated.

Ended up here after the market (Tuesdays only). Locals come here for a glass of wine or lunch. We had a wonderful meal here, a lovely quiet street, cozy and cool thanks to the location, honest and delicious food. Two wines (small glasses) for €2.60... simply delicious!!! Definitely recommended for honest, simple Italian food. You get a taste of Italy! 🥰

A typical restaurant in the heart of Varese Ligure A very original appetizer that I recommend, consisting of various tarts, crostini, chestnut flour fritters, and cured meats. I tried the homemade croxetti "au tuccu," whose seasoning was very light (perhaps too light). A good roast with side dishes, tender and flavorful, all accompanied by an excellent house red wine.

10/01/2026: Incredible gluten-free and lactose-free store just steps from Cuneo city center. The staff were truly charming, kind, helpful, and professional. They even let us try some sublime Baci di Dama biscuits. It's worth it for those with a "different" dietary preference ;) and for those who simply appreciate good food, stop by and try some of their enchanting products. Highly recommended.
