It was a recommendation by our host and it did not disappoint at all! What a beautiful cute little Osteria with amazing food! The chef herself came out to ask how the food it and it was really good! The homemade pasta with tomatoe sauce - wow! A simple dish but so flavorful and amazing!

A traditional restaurant where authenticity is a hallmark. There are no other farmhouses nearby that can compete. The appetizer is outstanding: orecchiette and wheat pasta, spectacular potatoes and mussels, as well as the fava bean and chicory purée and tomato sauce roulade. Everything is wonderful in a charming little square. Thank you 🙏

In a small village square, you suddenly feel transported to a timeless atmosphere. It feels like a movie set in the 1930s. Perfectly in keeping with this setting, Osteria di Monacizzo welcomes you and offers a simple menu, yet as good as the food your mother used to make. I fell in love with it! ❤️

Una vera osteria, cucina casalinga ottima, pasta fatta a mano dalla proprietaria meravigliosa. La location è bellissima nel piccolo borgo antico di torricella. Molto curato anche l’apparecchiamento e l’arredamento

01/05/2026: A family-run restaurant serving good-quality meat. The advice is always the same: if you want to try a little bit of everything, order moderate portions; if you have a clear idea, focus only on what you like. I particularly enjoyed the bombette, well-seasoned and moist on the inside. The gnomarelli were also good. The beef tagliata was excellent; I ordered it medium rare. The pork Florentine steak was a bit dry, even though it's a premium cut. The sirloin is very lean near the back, and even the fillet, if overcooked, can easily become dry; in short, it's probably overcooked (but that's a minor detail, it can happen). I'll definitely be back. Service was average.
22/12/2025: For a butcher's shop, everything is fine, good food, fair prices, polite and friendly staff.
