An excellent restaurant in Florence. We were wowed by the food, service and ambiance. It was a fitting Italian restaurant to visit on our last night in Europe. The bolognese was delicious. But—the lemon cake was spectacular! I highly recommend this place!

Just go. They care. Me and my wife were on our honeymoon visiting multiple cities in Italy and this was the best dinner by far. We didn’t have a reservation and they kindly fit us in with no bother. We were given some coccoli to start which was stunning for such a simple table starter. Our waiter was extremely friendly and attentive and explained all the specials and gave some very helpful recommendations. We decided to share 2 different starters and the kitchen plated them up half and half on our plates which sounds silly but was very thoughtful. We had the special which was a duck ragu pappardelle which was sublime. Their tiramisù was light and fresh. The service was top notch and the food tasted so fresh. Will be one to remember

If you visit Florence, be sure to go. You can enjoy the best dinner 🍽️. I recommend going with 4 people! The bistecca is great, but the minimum is 1kg, which is too much for 2 people, so 4 people is better. All the sides were also great, and the staff were very friendly.

Loved our dinner at Giovanni. Friendly staff, amazing coccoli, tasty ribollita, and a perfectly cooked Florentine steak with great potatoes. They finished it off with biscotti and vin santo on the house. Would definitely recommend.

Recommended by a local friend and delivered a great dining experience. Hercules and other waiters engage in meaningful conversations (even in Serbian) and the whole atmosphere - authenticity! -beats anything else in other restaurants around the famous bridge or square.

Una de las mejores comidas que tuvimos en Italia. Cada pasta estaba deliciosa y perfecta, la bistecca fiorentina estaba cocinada perfectamente, el postre era bueno. Y no te olvides de la masa frita - difícil de no seguir comiéndola! El servicio era eficiente y amable también. Haga una reserva, a medida que empacan. Muy recomendable.

Situato vicino a S. Maria Novella, varie sale con molti coperti, ma è sempre meglio prenotare. Tovagliato di stoffa, locale rumoroso. Siamo stati accolti con un calice di prosecco Danzante, e abbiamo pasteggiato con Vernaccia Falchini e Chianti Frescobaldi. Ottimi gli antipasti caldi (coccoli, carciofi fritti, carciofi con salsina, flan di porri e spinaci) e freddi (affettati, insalata carciofi e grana, bruschette, ricotta fresca). Molto buoni i primi (tortelloni pere pecorino porro e mandorle, e i pici con salsiccia e cavolo nero). Ottima la fiorentina portata già affettata, spessore giusto, cottura perfetta al sangue. Molto buono il peposo, leggero e morbido; ottimo il coniglio ripieno di pancetta pecorino e carciofi. Discreti i contorni, buoni i dolci. Servizio rapido, attento e sempre cortese,
