A restaurant that you will remember until just before you die. It was so delicious that the two of us ate 1kg and still scraped the meat off the bones. The pasta was also better than any seafood pasta we had eaten anywhere else. When I think of Italy, I only remember this place. It's so unfair that I only went once. The servers are also polite and friendly. A place where everything is perfect. I will go 3 more times before I die ㅜㅜ

First of all, make sure to make a reservation the day before. Regardless of what you order, a delicious and unforgettable dinner awaits you. I personally ordered the rabbit with artichokes, for which I can come back again. The wines are delicious! The service is impeccable, as it should be!

I was last week in this place in the center of Florence, everything was really good. We took an extraordinary Florentine steak. Congratulations to all the truly kind and competent staff, especially Gaetano who looked after our table impeccably. To return.

We had a lovely dinner at Giovanni’s. Food was fresh and flavoursome and the service was attentive. We had a good wine recommendation from one of the waiters. We didn’t have space for desert but next time we would make sure to try!

Osteria di Giovanni é un must per ogni visita a Firenze, ormai da molti anni. E si conferma sempre come locale eccellente sia per il cibo, dagli ottimi antipasti, alal famosa fiorentina, ai dolci delal casa, sia per l'accoglienza ed il personale di sala. Disponibilitá e simpatia, preparazione e rapiditá ai massimi livelli. Complimenti e ancora grazie per la bella serata che ci avete permesso.

19/11/2024: Without a doubt the best Fiorentina I've ever eaten in my life.
27/10/2024: Just a gem of a local Italian restaurant! The food was superb. We had tortellini with Gorgonzola and pears. Never had that combo before and it tasted so good. Steak with mushroom and meatballs were also so delicious. Wine selection was robust. Owners were very kind and obviously take great pride in their restaurant.

09/12/2024: What an amazing little place. The food was incredible and a beautiful atmosphere. The team were superb and the meals great value. We had steak, lasagne and pasta across our orders and all were superb. Don’t miss this one in Florence!
