Excellent Tuscan food and service that goes out of its way to make the experience enjoyable. Loud acoustics, but still highly recommended

What a wonderful restaurant, we came here twice a couple of years ago and we returned a couple of days ago. The food was just as good as we remembered it. The consistency of quality is amazing. Please let us visit again when we are next in Firenze, incidentally we had not booked and they managed to squeeze us in. Thank you so much.

The food was excellent. We had beef steak and truffle pasta. The service was exceptionally good. The chef is very entertaining and a good singer. We definitely recommend the restaurant. However, reservations are recommended.

Best meal I’ve had in Italy so far. It was clear that this is a place that locals come with their families (and dogs) to enjoy wonderful food. We started with delightful fried dough, then enjoyed meats and cheeses before our main courses. The chef sent out zuppa for us to try while we waited. After dinner we enjoyed complimentary dessert wine with biscotti followed by limoncello. The staff was attentive but not obtrusive and it was a warm and relaxing environment to spend time with friends. Highly recommended.

I've been to this restaurant a few times and it's always a pleasure to return! The cellar is a charming, characteristic place, and I always reserve a table there. Last night, my girlfriend and I also made friends with other couples, one Japanese and one American, and it was a wonderful evening. The food is noteworthy: high-quality, tasty but not excessive; there's so much substance here! The impeccable service and the kindness of the staff is evident throughout the service; they're friendly but never over the top or inappropriate. Whoever left a negative review must have chosen the wrong place; if they don't leave 4 stars or higher, the problem isn't with the place, but with those who consider themselves food critics by frequenting McDonald's! At the end of the evening, I asked to take the bone from a fantastic steak home for the dogs, and they obliged with a bag full of bones from the best Florentine steak in Florence. My husky and my Australian shepherd thanked me for the thought... a place definitely highly recommended and with fair prices for what they offer. Well done, you truly are an excellent place!!

Super delicious, especially the calf

I’ve been in Italy for 7 days now and this is the best restaurant I’ve been to so far. Everything was incredible, starting with the fried bread they bring you. The stuffed tortelli with the mushroom cream sauce is the best pasta I’ve had so far! And the dessert was excellent as well. All around I definitely recommend!

Very Good? -- Not enough. -- Seriously EXCELLENT! Great restaurant. -- authentic and tasty food, along with excellent service. We had stuffed zucchini flower as starter, followed by a generous portion of filet mignon -- perfectly cooked (medium rare) -- incredibly enjoyable.

Una de las mejores comidas que tuvimos en Italia. Cada pasta estaba deliciosa y perfecta, la bistecca fiorentina estaba cocinada perfectamente, el postre era bueno. Y no te olvides de la masa frita - difícil de no seguir comiéndola! El servicio era eficiente y amable también. Haga una reserva, a medida que empacan. Muy recomendable.
