We ate at L’Osteria Di Giovanni twice during our long weekend in Florence (once for my birthday!). We came across this restaurant by complete accident and ended up really loving it. The food is excellent and tasted truly homemade (this is coming from someone who lived in Italy). The coccoli are to die for! We also really enjoyed the sausage pasta. The staff is kind and attentive. We will definitely be coming back!

Beef carpaccio on a bed of arugula with truffle and Parmesan was excellent. The artichoke salad and the warm artichoke with herb and anchovy sauce were very good.

I absolutely loved this restaurant! Delicious food, attentive service, all of which created an incredibly cozy atmosphere. One of the best dinners of our entire trip to Florence. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

I had truffle pasta, and it was incredibly delicious with a generous portion of truffle. 👍 Even though I wasn't very good at English and had a hard time ordering, the female staff member (who actually seemed like the owner!) was very attentive and took great care of me, which was really nice. 🥰 + Was the almond bread you served for dessert actually a biscotti? It was so delicious that I can't stop thinking about it even after returning to Korea. I'm curious about its name! 😄

25/02/2026: Very nice place, very kind and knowledgeable staff, but above all, the cutlet, Her Majesty the Florentine, reigns supreme. Brilliant idea and truly amazing taste.
24/02/2026: A famous restaurant frequented by VIPs and Fiorentina players. Excellent hospitality and a typically Florentine atmosphere. Everything was delicious, with dishes that truly reflect local tradition. We tried Tullio's Fiorentina steak, about 1.5 kg, simply perfect. The price was reasonable, and it was definitely an experience worth repeating! Well done, well done!
