A superb discovery! A warm welcome, an authentic atmosphere, and delicious food from start to finish. We thoroughly enjoyed the rabbit with polenta and the pasta, followed by an excellent cheesecake. It's a shame there were gas problems in town that day. However, the service was quick and the dishes were simple but very good. The fried mushrooms were fantastic. The town is very beautiful and touristy. We hope for another better opportunity to try more.

We visited the charming village of Dolceacqua and had a memorable lunch at L’Osteria di Caterina. Quick, friendly service and authentic Italian dishes. The milanesa, pasta, and fish were all excellent. Don’t miss the porcini mushrooms, are absolutely delicious!

Genuine, clean flavors. Perhaps many are no longer accustomed to tasting the authentic flavor of food without the unnecessary and redundant frills of pseudo-chefs from TV shows.
Fresh porcini mushrooms, tagliatelle with wild boar, fried anchovies, and even a simple yet crispy mixed salad.
All simple yet authentic.
Grilled lamb. All washed down with an excellent Rossese di Dolceacqua.
