L'osteria del Borgo Antico In Bari

I gave a low rating to the environment because we were close to the door that opened and closed, we often had to move to let people pass and above all it was very cold with the door opening, which we often had to close ourselves, so the place it was not well heated. The service was good, everyone was friendly. As for the food, the starters were very good (we took the mix and the cheese), the taralli with burnt wheat were really fragrant and fresh. Alas, the tiella (the one in the photo, potatoes, rice and mussels), a typical Bari dish and the reason why we came to this restaurant full of expectations, was not good. There was a quantity of onions that was far greater than the quantity of all the other ingredients, the mussels were tasteless and I do not exclude that they may have been frozen, in some dishes the potatoes were raw. I gave it 3 stars because the starters were good, but it's not a place I would return to.

Traditional tavern in a super central position: the tiella of potatoes, rice and mussels is very good, the orecchiette (the slightly stringy horse chop) are good, but in the Bari starter I didn't like the fried mussels. Very cold service, there was a mix-up regarding the booking time (be careful because, contrary to what is indicated, the restaurant opens at 12.30 and not 12). Overall a more than decent restaurant

Eten was lekker, bediening vooral van een meneer slecht. Er kon geen glimlach vanaf, tijdens ons verblijf daar hebben we hem niet zien lachen.

Siamo state in questa osteria suggerita dal sindaco di Bari a Fiorello per la migliore tiella ( riso patate e cozze) di Bari. Confermiamo la bontà del piatto e non solo. Gli antipasti sono sfiziosi e rappresentano la buona tradizione barese . Per concludere ci ha colpito la gentilezza del personale e la voglia di accontentarci. W la bari vecchia
