The best pasta I've ever had fresh, just cheese and no added milk in the white sauce. Simply divine. Congratulations to the restaurant and I'll miss it.

We had a lunch of superlative pappa al pomodoro and a memorable Fiorentina (made with Tuscan meat, not imported from abroad) with an excellent house red. The host is friendly and courteous, who puts his heart and soul into it and who, he says, doesn't look at these reviews. The digestive "Spinello" is unmissable.

I had high expectations because the tour guide recommended it, and thanks to the guide, I was able to go in 20 minutes early. I heard that the truffle pasta and cheese pasta were delicious, and they were indeed delicious, but the noodles were a bit thick and the texture was a bit strange. And the steak I ordered was so delicious that I wanted to eat it again.

Locale molto informale, piccolo caratteristico, nel centro storico di Pienza, dove abbiamo mangiato e bevuto molto bene . Simpatico il proprietario che ti fa sentire a proprio agio. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Tutte le volte che veniamo a Pienza la nostra tappa obbligatoria è la famosa Osteria Baccus. Un locale tipicamente Toscano dove si mangia veramente benissimo!!! Antipasti primi e secondi davvero squisiti! Siamo stati anche invitati in cucina a vedere con i nostri occhi che tutto viene fatto al momento con materia prima ottima! Le bistecche?! Favoloseeeeee

25/07/2025: At first I thought this is overpriced posh place targeting wine tour clients... I couldn't be more wrong. It's really all about quality - probably the best salty platter I ever had. Primi piatti were pure poetry. Worth making a reservation, and really worth a detour.
08/07/2025: We had lunch at this place after a wine tasting tour! Me and my wife are both vegetarians and we ordered the spinach ricotta and zucchini flower dishes. Both were outstanding and one of a kind. We finally ordered the banana split dessert to end our meal and I’ll highly recommend trying it out.
