Wonderful experience. The first with white ragù and unique truffle. I'm not ashamed to say it, I made two rounds of the same dish, I could taste the flavor of every ingredient and truffle, to say the least, sublime.
Excellent quality! We are not talking about the usual commercial dishes.
PS: don't miss the terrine with grilled pecorino cheese, lard and truffle, as well as the black liver croutons.
Courteous but at the same time very familiar service; the very nice owner.

Fantastic experience. My wife and I entered here almost by chance, driven by hunger and tiredness, but we found ourselves in a genuine tavern, with professional and friendly staff. The owner is funny, ironic and very competent. We had 2 courses each with some off the menu: dishes cooked really well and with choice raw materials, all completed with the inevitable bottle of Rosso d'Orcia, house cantucci and vinsanto at the end. Highly recommended!

I had steak 4 times in Italy and it was overwhelmingly delicious. The owner is very friendly, and there are a lot of reservations, so if you just walk-in, there may not be a seat. We were lucky enough to get a seat when it opened, so we went in, but luckily there was only one seat left. I witnessed more than 10 teams leaving because there were no reservations and there were no seats. Today's menu that's not on the menu? I ordered gnocchi from the extra menu and it was really delicious. The minimum order for T-bone steak is 1.2kg, and the price is 6 euros per 100g, so 1.2kg is 72 euros. It's salted just right so it's very delicious when paired with red wine. The owner has an honest belief in running a restaurant that serves honest local food, not a restaurant for travelers. So there is no Aperol spirits. But no matter which menu you choose, you won't regret it. Even the tiramisu and limoncello I had for dessert were fantastic. I leave behind happy memories. Small place, few seats, booking is mandatory. Ate good local food and spent the right amount. Unhappy accommodation at the foot of a passage staircase, not exactly intimate. Be careful, the innkeeper is always right.

A small restaurant and a menu with few courses are very often indicators of quality. All confirmed once we ordered from the menu grilled Pecorino with lard and truffle (suggested to us by the owner instead of the appetizers offered since we like truffles), pici with white ragù and fresh truffle and finally sliced beef with fresh truffle. An impressive triptych in flavors and seasoned with the owner's genuine hospitality.

Credo che si debba avere dei punti fissi di riferimento, per noi a Pienza abbiamo il nostro punto di riferimento in Giuseppe e tutti il suo staff. Con la simpatia, la giovialita e la professionalità, ci fanno sempre sentire a casa, anzi in famiglia.

Locale piccolo ma molto carino e curato. Il proprietario è un ottimo oste, accogliente e divertente. Ci ha rallegrato la cena!
Carne di ottima qualità così come il pecorino con il tartufo. Anche le verdure semplici ma gustose.
