L'Osteria Baccus In Pienza

My partner and I had dinner this evening 07/28/2024. Stopping to talk only about the food would be an understatement, not even to say it is of a superior quality (I recommend pici white ragù with truffle). We met Mr. Giuseppe, what can I say.....an incredible man with human qualities that are truly to be appreciated. He was able to accompany our dinner by recommending dishes and talking about this and that, all with truly appreciable kindness and friendliness. At the end of our dinner we felt as if we were at home, we were the last remaining customers, and we stayed talking with Giuseppe for another hour, we truly felt at home. I obviously recommend the place, firstly for Giuseppe, and secondly obviously the food which is of truly superior quality. We will definitely be back, thank you Giusè!! ❤️

Very nice and warm place, makes you feel at home. Delicious food, very soft Florentine steak and cooked to perfection. Cheese with truffle lots of stuff. The owner is very friendly, ready to recommend different dishes based on your tastes.

Amazing, welcoming experience. The owner (not sure if)/front of house was so kind and friendly. He pretty much ruled. Atmosphere is warm. The environment is comfortable and casual. Food is next level. Miss this place already. Thank you Baccus.

Characteristic place in the center of Pienza. Small and with a small menu that is worth every single dish! The owner was very helpful and friendly, he advised us what to have... everything was delicious! Grilled pecorino with truffle is something indescribable... even approved by a 3 year old girl😂

Locale piccolo ma molto carino e curato. Il proprietario è un ottimo oste, accogliente e divertente. Ci ha rallegrato la cena! Carne di ottima qualità così come il pecorino con il tartufo. Anche le verdure semplici ma gustose.

Il nostro ristorante preferito. A Pienza per noi c'è solo Baccus. Ti da il massimo in tutto, sia la professionalità e la simpatia di Giuseppe e tutto il suo staff, sia nei piatti che sono sempre insuperabili. Vi torneremo? Certo per molte volte ancora.
