Well-kept place, fast, excellent and attentive service and excellent food

Even with a mix-up due to the storm they welcomed us very well, delicious food

Restaurant in the center of Moncalvo. Inside the rooms are a bit small and outside you are right on the street. The food is excellent! The Fassona meat is exceptional! The service is very courteous, helpful and friendly. Medium-high prices. The Fassona tartare with parmesan flakes and artichokes is excellent!

Friendly service with exceptionally good food and wine selection. We'd gladly return.

Everything was superlative, we will be back

3 Americans and a Spaniard attending a wedding in the vecinity decide to venture into the little town of Moncalvo. The lady at the hotel front desk recommends a few spots but she mentions this Trattoria makes their own pasta, and we should definitely try it, although she stresses there might be a bit more luxurious option in town. This little restaurant is located in the town center piazza and has a cute outdoors area (which was already packed, even in mid-May when I write this). We got sat down indoors and immediately noticed this is a special place. The spartan but elegant decor, the smell of fresh linens and the small window gorgeous views, it all felt right. Service was warm annd anttentive and we got some salumi and crispy cheese bread as a welcome treat. What followed was out of this world. The fresh artichoke salad, the grissini, the green salad with parmigiana and nuts, all to die for. But when we were recommended individually plated pasta that is when the real experience began. Agnolotti with just a bit of veal jus and the half moon ravioli with simple tomato sauce and basil. It was incredible. The texture, the mini bites shaped pasta, the Gavi wine, the perfectly polished glassware, their ceramic ice buckets. It felt great to be sitting next to the local plumber with all his family and see them tip the staff generously. It felt at home. If there is a more luxurious or better option in town, I honestly do not want to know about it.

Nice place, excellent staff, adequately varied but not reasonably extensive menu. Excellent dishes, well cooked, adequate raw materials. We'll be back with pleasure.

Ambiente casereccio come piace a me , vista sulle colline bellissima , personale super cordiale attenti ai dettagli , molto pazienti con esigenze di alcuni cliente come nel nostro gruppo di oggi in cui si è sposata mia mamma. Servizio eccellente , chef davvero bravissimo nel bilanciare i sapori. Consigliatissimo per un pranzo o cena innun ambiente tranquillo e molto gradevole in tutto bravissime 👏🏻
