L'Osteria In Vieste

We both wanted to order a pizza, one Frutti di Mare, one Margherita. When ordering, the waitress acted as if there was no pizza and only paposce. But there was a pizzeria everywhere on the premises and also on the menu.

In addition to some meat, we tasted the infamous grilled podolico, and having eaten it elsewhere, I must say that it didn't excite me, in fact, I'll stop here because we're not sure, whether what happened to us is linked to him, However, I can confirm that there is better. For the meat everything is ok, I recommend it. Excellent service, location nothing to say, there are tables on the street just before the historic center, so I assume purely summer.

Let me start by saying that I gave 4 stars because in the chaos of people in Vieste it can happen that an evening doesn't go all right and I'll explain it. The troccoli on the rock. Ordered two dishes of which one was practically a half portion. We pointed this out to more than one waiter but they pretended as if it were normal, and the waitress (the older one) who took our orders didn't really mind. According to my friends, the flavor was good even if it lacked seasoning, a couple of mussels and prawns were absolutely not worth the price of 15 euros. I took the papascia with seafood, the dough was excellent, the filling was disappointing, practically a seafood salad without oil. Honestly I was expecting a fish soup type dressing, my fault because I should have asked. Excellent bruchetta, good caciocavallo and troccoli with clams. This was my first and last experience at this restaurant. Indifference towards the customer.

Cozy place, great music, very kind staff, standard food quality! We recommend the lamb with baked potatoes!

Excellent food, same value for money... We were there once and went back the next day.

Premettendo che a Vieste sono più ristoranti che altro, non è facile scegliere. Ci siamo seduti per caso in questo posticino lungo la strada e ci siamo tornati per 3 sere consecutive. Cucina genuina, prezzi buoni, non esagerati. Personale molto gentile. Lo consiglio!

Siamo stati con la Famiglia a Vieste e ci siamo fermati a pranzare alla trattoria L'osteria dove il personale cordiale e disponibile, lo Chef Carmine Gagliardi ci ha saputo consigliare dei piatti dove a spiegarvi non potete credere, dovete andare per assaggiare delle portate squisite.
