Good quality but a little expensive

Highly recommended for those who want to savor authentic Friulian flavors in a warm and authentic atmosphere! A truly unmissable osteria in the heart of San Daniele! 🌟 I started with a lard appetizer accompanied by pickled vegetables, simple yet meticulously flavored. For my first course, I chose the ever-present San Daniele prosciutto, served impeccably and truly sublime. As a side dish, I chose a trio of cheeses (ricotta, tomino, and mozzarella), each seasoned with care and flavor, showcasing the ingredients to their fullest. All this was accompanied by a local DOC white wine, crisp and perfectly paired with the dishes. To finish, a homemade tiramisu that was a true delight, creamy and irresistible. The bill was absolutely reasonable for the quality and generous portions. The restaurant is welcoming, family-run, and immediately makes you feel at ease: kindness and hospitality are the hallmarks. On a positive note, the parking spaces on the opposite side of the street are convenient and affordable. On a positive note: I arrived at 2:30 PM, thinking it was too late to eat, but instead they greeted me with a smile, found me a quiet table, and started the meal with fabulous breadsticks.

Very warm welcome and tasting in the spotlight for San Danièle

Excellent for a lunch break; we ate quite well, but the service was quick and efficient, and the waiter was able to advise us. The mushroom and sausage tortelli were very good, but the tagliatelle with ragu was disappointing, as it was very watery. The tigelle and the gnocco fritto with cured meats were good. The price was a bit high for what we ordered, but overall, it's a good restaurant.

We were advised to go to this restaurant to enjoy a good ham and we were satisfied with the quality and also with the price.

At the Osteria di San Daniele del Friuli, I tried the San Daniele prosciutto: simply extraordinary, it melted in the mouth, worthy of its name. Everything was served with passion and kindness, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Fair prices and excellent quality. A place I highly recommend.

Characterful place, friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food.

We stopped in for a quick lunch and enjoyed a plate of excellent San Daniele ham with cheese and pickles. We finished with a chocolate cake and fig strudel, both excellent. The staff, always friendly and attentive, provided excellent recommendations. We'll be back!

The many kilometers traveled from Trieste are not in vain. The osteria is definitely worth a visit.
