All the risottos are excellent, excellent appetizers, excellent wine list.
I have never tried the second courses because I was literally enraptured by the risottos.
In company we opted for the choice of risotto in different variations that we then all tasted.
The courteous owner exudes Milanese-ness, so I can even speak in dialect.
Clean and simple environment, without frills.

The risotto you should taste to understand how risotto is really made. And then the fried sage, the baked onion, the tripe, the busecca... in short, eating Milanese, paying the right amount for good quality ingredients in an honest and clean place.

Very good food and friendly staff. Only at the end did we disagree about the amaro. The owner thought we wanted it included in the menu, but we wanted to pay for it separately. And in the end, nada. We couldn't find a solution. 😃

If you want to eat typical Milanese or Lombard cuisine in general, come to Oste Italiano. P.S. the risottos are fantastic

If you are looking for Lombard cuisine this is the right place. The environment is not modern but that's the beauty of it. Here you can eat really well, all the dishes are tasty, you could choose with your eyes closed. Vast assortment of risottos, all good, not to mention the stracotto and osso bucco... two delights. And the fried mushrooms as an appetizer?? No okay..

Locale semplice , unica pecca un po’ di puzza sui vestiti, ma nulla di devastante. Personale molto gentile.
Buoni i salumi e la fritturina.
Buona la cotoletta, meno convinto del risotto. Comunque il posto si può provare.
