A typical trattoria with good quality cuisine, very kind and helpful staff. I recommend that you define at the time of booking whether the table is inside the tavern or outside in the dehor based on the season because if you don't ask first, the more complainers you get, the better the place.

An excellent lunch at Oste di Lucca.
We had an excellent Chianina Fiorentina steak, high-quality meat, perfectly cooked.
A special thank you to Vincenzo for his wonderful attention to us, preparing a dish dedicated to our future fatherhood. A gesture that truly made us happy.

If you come to Lucca, you can't miss L'Oste di Lucca, a typical and welcoming restaurant, especially Vincenzo, the manager, who is so professional and welcoming that he makes you feel right at home. We've been for both lunch and dinner, and both times we had a wonderful time. Kudos to the entire staff, because you never get anywhere alone.

We chose it for convenience... Then it turned out to be an excellent place for lunch: friendly and kind, and not a little (given bad experiences in Arezzo). The waiter Vincenzo was very sweet. My two-year-old son is a passionate cook and cook and he surprised us by drawing a dedication for my son and family with food on the plate. Delicious food. They offered us two focaccias for a fair price, including a bottle of wine. I'd say it was an excellent experience ♥️

Celebrating my birthday at L'Oste in Lucca with candles on pici pasta with Tuscan ragù, Florentine steak, and torta della nonna was a dream. The dishes were delicious, washed down with an excellent Chianti. And to top it all off, Andrea's warmth and kindness made me feel right at home.

We booked for dinner, 4 + 2 medium-sized dogs in tow, needless to say we had a great time, served as best as can be, super staff, food as well, the Florentine steak was the excellence of the evening, in short, what else to say, the stars speak for themselves..... P.S.
For the host's first course, in my opinion, fewer leeks so that the flavor of the truffle will stand out more 😉😉😉😋😋😋.... Well done guys, keep it up 👍👍👍

Visited as quite a large party and were seated & served relatively quickly. The food was nice enough, but we were SO squashed in it was uncomfortable and felt like we were in the way. Had to go outside for a bit of breathing space ! A lot of people wanted the toilet on the way out, but this was upstairs up some steep steps and not very nice, to be honest. Lovely older lady though telling everyone how to navigate the intricacies of the red and blue pedals to wash your hands !
