We only had drinks then later dinner but it serves delicious regional food. Perfect pasta and tender, slow cooked beef. Interesting dessert too! Friendly service and fantastic location by a waterfall where you can drop fish food to the fish way below.

Nice atmosphere, great service. The meat was a bit tough and the spinach and ricotta filling of the ravioli was a bit too firm.

I did not stay at this property, but I had dinner at the restaurant. Located in the center of Stia, with a veranda overlooking the river; simple but welcoming environment, traditional local dishes, well made and plentiful. Friendly staff and fast service. Fair price: for two first courses, two second courses, a side dish (fried artichokes!), two desserts, a bottle of local organic wine, a small glass of vin santo, water and two coffees we spent less than €100.

We booked very late and luckily there was a table left.
Full restaurant table for 2 with waterfall view.... Appetizer.."Casentino slices" selection of local cold cuts.... Excellent
First "stiesi" ravioli with fresh truffle and "toini" with the same sauce, excellent.
Coffee and correct bill.
I will definitely go back.
Congratulations.... The only flaw, if we can call it that, was a slight slowness in service but justified by the notable presence of customers, which was however normal.

We had a wonderful dinner in this homely restaurant with pastry shop in the center. The menu is typical Casentino and we ate excellent tortelli which could be seasoned in various ways. We have the traditional ragù and a white rabbit sauce. Truly unique. To continue we found spectacular pork livers with the net, very soft and tasty, with crunchy fried artichokes as a side dish. To finish, among the many dessert proposals, we opted for a very traditional zuccotto which was a worthy conclusion to an excellent dinner. Good choice of wines. Friendly and welcoming staff. To return. Excellent prices around €45 per person including bottled wine. Everything perfect.

Fantastic place overlooking the river with waterfall. Romantic but I also recommend it alone or with friends. Excellent and generous food from starter to dessert.

Il locale mi ha ricordato molto i ristoranti dei tempi passati, senza molte formalità, ma di buona sostanza, a prezzi nel complesso più che abbordabili, cosa peraltro confermata dal fatto che, anche se di giovedì, era completamente pieno.
Abbiamo preso i piatti della tradizione di Stia (tortelli e scottiglia), tutto molto buono.
Tornando a Stia, saprei dove andare a mangiare.
Visto la mia visita nel casentino nel periodo natalizio mi preoccupo di prenotare da casa per la cena del 25 dicembre…non si sa mai
Mi fanno presente che faranno una cosa informale a buffet, visto che tutti a pranzo mangeranno da abbuffarsi, a noi va bene
E da lì siamo tornati per assaggiare il loro menù per altre 2 sere
Comodo all’hotel a Stia, andavamo a piedi, abbiamo trovato un’ottima osteria con personale socievole e disponibile e un menu molto vario e ottimo
L’idea del buffet la prima sera c’è piaciuta molto così da poter assaggiare vari salumi e formaggi locali…e vini visto che hanno un’ottima cantina e noi eravamo a piedi
