If you come, I highly recommend the Caciucco Casentinese (meat-based soup), unexpected and incredibly flavorful. A truly perfect dish. Compliments to the chef.

Welcoming and helpful staff. Spacious and very nice room for the restaurant and pastry shop. The customer turnout I saw from 8am until late at night speaks for itself... excellent cuisine with quality raw materials... a very positive experience.

We booked dinner at this trattoria serving typical Casentino cuisine. From the outside, it looked like a village bar, but inside, the details (vintage tables and chairs, placemats with detailed menus, etc.) made it a welcoming and very authentic place. Homemade pasta, appetizers featuring local products, and home-grown meats were also featured. We ordered mixed crostini and a "scarpetta" (ragù, white ragù, and mushroom ragù with slices of bread); a Florentine steak three fingers thick (because here they say anything less would be carpaccio), two side dishes, all washed down with a Morellino di Scansano... we left feeling full and very satisfied. Well done!!!! The waiters were also excellent. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious, with authentic flavors. I wish I was hungrier so I could try more dishes! I recommend the tortelli stiani; they're out of this world. The service was good, with really friendly and helpful staff. We'll definitely be back next year.

We stopped for lunch and had a really good time. The veranda overlooking the waterfall, though small, is charming. The food was excellent and tasty. Friendly service.

Si visitas o vives en Casentino —una hermosa parte de la Toscana, por cierto— sabrás que la escena del restaurante no es exactamente lo que encontrarías en Chianti. Hay muchos lugares que están... bien, pero no son memorables. L’Ospitale dei Brilli destaca a lo grande.
La ubicación es genial, justo encima de un conjunto de pequeñas cascadas. No son enormes, pero son cascadas reales, y añaden algo especial. En el interior, el ambiente es cálido y familiar. El tipo de lugar donde te sientes cómodo al instante. El servicio es siempre amable — cada vez que vamos, se siente como volver a casa.
¿Pero la verdadera razón por la que seguimos volviendo? La comida. Spoiler: es genial.
Puede elegir entre una sólida selección de platos de pasta, incluidos sus famosos ravioles, todos hechos a mano en el sitio. Mi favorito absoluto es el ragù di coniglio bianco — ragù de conejo blanco — que es excelente. El ravioli al burro (con mantequilla) es otro ganador.
La última vez que fui con mi hija y mi hijo - suegro - probaron algunos de los platos de carne y quedaron impresionados. Lo que realmente me gusta es cómo el menú se mantiene arraigado en la tradición local, pero nunca se siente estancado o repetitivo. Es reconfortante sin ser aburrido.
Si vas a ir el fin de semana, reserva con anticipación, se llena de gente local rápidamente. Una verdadera joya en el paisaje de restaurantes Casentino.
