Excellent food, stunning atmosphere. Arrogant and insensitive staff. I went for a glass of wine at 7:20 PM. Obviously, the place was booked for dinner, but it was empty. The arrogant guys upstairs said they were packed with people queuing (not true) and that you couldn't get a drink in half an hour (in Veneto, you can get at least three spritzes in 30 minutes). I feel sorry for the very kind owner, but he should surround himself with competent staff and not snooty kids.

If I had to pick one of my happiest moments in Otranto, it would be enjoying wine at L'Ortale. From the outside, it looks like a small bar, but once you step inside, through a secret passageway, you'll find a beautiful outdoor table on the second floor. The beautiful Southern Italian weather, the vines, the delicious wine, and the charcuterie... it's truly perfect. Be sure to try the focaccia!!!

A very nice wine bar with a great wine selection and local specialties.
Although it's self-service, it's very quick and easy to get in and out. The outdoor dining area is truly charming and cozy. There's also a wine shop in the well-stocked wine cellar.

A really nice place, run by a few local guys, and doesn't seem quite as touristy as many of the other restaurants around.
They serve tapas of local specialties, ranging from €3-10. You can eat in a pleasant atmosphere in the covered terrace-like garden or inside at the bar – really quaint!

A tranquil oasis in the beautiful, lively town of Otranto. Very pleasant service, excellent products on sale. Wine and food served self-service, but with style. Jazz standards played in the terraced garden – a very pleasant evening! Thank you ❤️

A magical place in the heart of Otranto's historic center. Enter this small bar and find yourself in an enchanting garden, meticulously maintained down to the smallest detail, where you can enjoy aperitifs and desserts in complete relaxation. The food and drinks are excellent, with all carefully selected products, and a half-liter glass of "real" Spritz without soda water. You can order and pick up food and drinks, but the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to explain their business decisions. I recommend everyone to stop by this truly unique place.

Enjoy an aperitif in this stunning location, a relaxing spot with a friendly cat. Some tables are a bit too dark. Quality food and a wide selection. Excellent platter, and the fried orecchiette are highly recommended. You can also purchase local produce on site. Prices are perhaps a bit above average for the lack of table service.
