For me, the biggest surprise of the entire gastronomic area of ​​Sicily. It is a piece of northern Europe in the south. If you prefer top quality coffee beans and modern Central/Western European coffee preparation (filtered coffee - pour over, espresso or cold brew), this is the best choice in the area, probably on the whole island.

Jewel of a coffee shop. Wide range of Artisan coffees, nice range of pastrys in quirky but comfortable setting. The batista (sorry, didn't get her name) was extremely charming and helpful.

20/12/2024: It's definitely my favorite place. Everything was fantastic, from the starter to the dessert. Seasonal dishes studied in detail, excellent flavor combinations. Last night the velvety soup and pumpkin mousse were incredible. Really very good. The service is no exception, always highly prepared but also friendly and nice to customers. Top. I always come back, for me it feels like home. See you next Saturday 😜

08/10/2024: Great place to sample and buy the amazing variety of chocolates made and sold in Modica -- and for free! They will also take you down into the vault and show you how they create the unusual flavors.
10/09/2024: Visited the chocolate shop as part of a tour group . We were a big group , possibly too many for this tasting . Most of our group thought we were going to see chocolate being made . This didn’t happen . The lady telling us about the chocolate didn’t use a microphone & as the door to the street was open, so you couldn’t hear her very well . It was very hot in the room too. We were just given a run down of the flavours & prices of the chocolate & there were bowls of pieces you could try . We bought some chill chocolate & lemon & mint . It’s ok but has quite a grainy texture. As a lady that comes from the home town of Cadbury Chocolate I was a bit disappointed by this visit . It felt rushed, with not a lot of content .
