We happened to walk past it. We were on our way to another restaurant. Luckily, we stopped here. The food was fantastic. Very good quality. The owner was very friendly. I think we were the only non-Italians there. Excellent.

One day you don't know where to go and you choose a tavern... the closest one with a decent rating... it's not much on the outside but inside you meet him: the real innkeeper! Bread for bread and wine for wine. We eat fish-based food (for the rest, later on it's the old wild west! Quote from the innkeeper) the food is fantastic, genuine...I recommend the Ischitana cod, the rice with walnuts and mussels...the desserts...let him advise you...otherwise he'll get pissed off! State workers are not allowed! Kisses

Met by chance, excellent food all fish. Recommended, otherwise I wouldn't go back again after fifteen years (more or less)

The owner is like that.. nothing can be done about it now... he's from Viareggio... but the dishes are spectacular.. fantastic.. and everything is made to order and fresh.. I recommend going because the welcome and the food deserve it... regards to the owner...

So, if you eat with love, you're not a fan and you want to taste well-made dishes served with ironic kindness, well this is your place. As far as I'm concerned, L'orchide has jumped up in the ranking of my favorite places. PS: everything is good.
