A small place right on the main road. We stopped by chance and here is Antonio who welcomes us with a big smile and one joke leads to another!! A character! The lunch lived up to the welcome, it was excellent from start to finish: only fresh fish dishes (I would have eaten the inviting dishes of my neighbors too). In short, a must-see for anyone passing through these parts. Highly recommended!

We were there tonight with some friends of mine who were visiting from England. I'll start by saying that the night before we went to the Osteria del Mare del Forte restaurant. We had a wonderful time in this little restaurant in Viareggio. Antonio is a special person and makes you spend a special, unique evening! His Viareggio-style friendliness is priceless. In the kitchen you'll find his wife and his BELOVED mother-in-law who cook divinely. My friends gave this place a very high rating despite the comparison with a restaurant in Forte which in our opinion is just smoke. Therefore I recommend this restaurant for a unique experience. For those who are a bit of a WITCH, you can stay at home! Well done guys, respect for you who are great workers.

At Antonio's you can eat for 10... excellent fish dishes, fair prices and a homely atmosphere... we've been going there for years... shame that the place isn't too big... Highly recommended...

We happened to walk past it. We were on our way to another restaurant. Luckily, we stopped here. The food was fantastic. Very good quality. The owner was very friendly. I think we were the only non-Italians there. Excellent.

Delicious food, special environment not to mention the host: Antonio is number 1!!!
